Beautiful cozy space, lovely decor. Delicious delicious food!Definitely one of my favourite pizza places in town, but the whole menu is amazing. Would recommend to anyone.
We had carbonara and prosciutto & arugula. We ordered these as We saw its an authentic carbonara with guanciale (not bacon) and egg yolk (not cream) and pecorino cheese (not parmigiano). The food is delicious and we are very satisfied with their service too. When we complained that the rigatoni was a bit soft. They right away wanted to change new plate and didn’t charge us for the pasta. We appreciate it so much as they really take seriously the quality of the food. They even used great quality of prosciutto on the pizza, my Italian spouse was amazed. We definitely come back again.
The pizza is A little too good. It’s the kind of food you would get if you were on death row and this was your last meal. 10/10 go if you can.
Lovely neighbourhood Restaurant with very good food and excellent service. The staff is GREAT!! Happy hour is great and house red wine is too! Didn’t give it five stars just because it’s a bit high priced for what you get and would love to see a few more menu selections besides pizza. Having said that the pizza is amazing and it’s a great place!
Awesome place, Awesome food, Awesome service!!! If you wanted to indulge in some Italian food that would make your Nonna verdi with envy, YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!!
Not a good experience. I call to make a reservation and they tell me that it has to be done online. So I made a reservation online and when we get there, the host looks around and realizes they didn’t have any tables available so they seat us at the bar. So we decide to wait for a table, then they say there’s no pizza available, which is what we were looking forward to. We understand that stuff happens and we've been wanting to try this place out for awhile now, so we figure we'll still try the pasta. We order the dinner for two thing for $75 bucks, and the pasta we wanted is “oh sorry that’s an additional charge”, but with no indication on the menu. We order it anyways because it’s still what we want. Then there is wax paper in the pasta.Oh, and all the other tables get their wine in wine glasses but ours comes in cups? I understand some places do that for a more "authentic Italian" experience, but it seems like others had the option of an an actual wine glass, why didn't we? After we ordered our drinks, we were told it was “last call for everything” before we even got our food and our drinks were still full so we had to pace our one drink for the whole meal. All the negative aside, the pasta was still really good (minus the wax paper), however this really was not an enjoyable experience and I believe they can and should do much better.
Pizza and pasta was fabulous. Tiramisu and affogato for desert? Wow. Wish this establishment would have free parking for it's patrons at the back. Free parking around but it's only one hour... hassle of moving the car after the 1 hour. Trust me if you are here with your family and friends you will need more than 1 hour.
Love the smell in the air of the legna...Delicious pizza and great service. Will come back for more.
We were impressed as soon as we walked in. The interior decor was very appealing. It had a vintage feel to it and there was lots of natural lighting. There were nice plants around the restaurant as well. The music selection was a 10/10 and it was at the perfect volume. I had to Shazam almost every song while I was there because the songs were so groovy. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a pizza and it was extremely delicious. Drinks were enjoyable too. I highly recommend this gem of a place.
I've had take out a few times and it was always decent. The last time I did was in February on a Friday night. I ordered a salad and a pizza. The salad was fine, but the pizza was supposed to have parmesan on it, and it came without. That was the only cheese to be on the pizza so it was kind of blah without it. The arugula that came with it that was to be put on top - only half of it was usable. The rest was slimy and/ or brown. I sent the restaurant a private message on their website- just to let them know. I didn't hear back at all, so I'm now leaving this review. I understand it was a busy Friday night, which was why I didn't want to leave e neg. review right off the bat. It tells me something though about how much they care about their customers that the message I sent them fell on deaf ears.I will not NOT go back, but this experience has left me a bit sour on them.
