Amazing "retro dinner" spot in North Van. I went there twice and both times the food was excellent. The staff was super friendly and the service super fast. I highly recommend the Quinoa salad if you are looking for a lighter option and the Denver bowl for a more filling meal. A must if you are in the area!
Came for breakfast today with my wife. Hot diggy. Food, atmosphere all top notch but perhaps a titch understaffed. We waited a little while for a table but no biggie. After that service was great and once coffee arrived well. Nothing was on my mind except soaking up a Saturday morning at the diner. French toast was awesome. The lemon and fruit is a nice accent and the marscapone helped the challah bread along as well. Coffee was great too. Will be back. My favourite bike store is around the corner.
First time here, tried the Smoked Salmon Benny and Berry Waffles! I liked the added touch of house-made biscuits for the Benny. The waffles were fluffy and light! Good overall experience!
Great experience. Fantastic food. Like that small town gem only the locals know about. FYI - no reso's but they are very attentive so tables turn over quickly

This is not your average diner. This is ‘elevated diner’ food. The coffee is stellar, unlike most watery diner coffee. The food is delicious and locally sourced—from the uniquely spiced sausage to the delicately folded eggs, to the sweet potato tater tots (seriously—why haven’t I heard of those bites of heaven before?), I haven’t felt that satisfied after a breakfast since New Zealand.The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make our visit special. Although their recommendation of the milkshake, while warranted—it was insanely tasty—put me into a bit of a food coma afterwards. Plan a hike or something after this amazing spot!
I ordered a breakfast item, and the food was great! It's a cozy and almost cramped restaurant with additional seating outside, but the ambiance was very welcoming and the staff were friendly. Seats do fill up fast, so come early!
Great combination of retro/modern vibe, delicious food, and super-friendly service. You can customize your omelet. Enjoyed the avocado benny, two egg breakfast, in-house waffles, and granola yogurt. Even the hashbrowns were seasoned well. All our dishes were cooked perfectly! Coffee was also pretty solid. It’s a small restaurant, ideal for parties of 1-4.
This is an absolute must visit place if you are in the area.Really a great little restaurant. Interesting decor sort of a bit 60s with a counter and those cool soda counter stools. And most important GREAT FOODPs cleanest washroom I have seen in a restaurant in a while.Don't.miss this place if you are in the area
