What a gem in Deep Cove! Great coffee and baked goods, especially the cute little cinnamon buns. Service and owner is amazing. Love the sandwiches too. A gem!

Went in once out of interest. Ordered 2 lattes, which the barista proceeded to steam in one pitcher while we were the only guests in the cafe during a slow morning. I can understand a certain time for milk sharing (should be very rare and only when it's bumping), but this was really disappointing. The espresso was definitely not calibrated (surprising as I know they carry Matchstick) and the overall experience was subpar.
Was here month's ago and I'm STILL dreaming of the panini's we had here. When I tell you I saw stars when I took that first bite I'm not kidding. Absolute artisian sandwich here. I highly recommend them.
Worst interaction I’ve ever experienced. The guy working was shamefully rude. I asked a simple question and he was so rude and arrogant. I would NEVER WALK THRU THE DOORS AGAIN. I would discourage anyone else from doing so. Even the people out on the patio said he was rude to them as well. If he is the owner you need to find another business to run. If he is an employee rethink your staff choice. I never post critical reviews, I keep it to myself. But I even mentioned his attitude to the guy and he said “Bye”! Horrible customer service.
The cinnamon buns are the best!!! Make sure you get it with cream cheese!
Tried Covert's Cafe after strolling around Deep Cove and needed a caffeine fix and I'm glad to have checked it out. They have great drinks and it definitely hit the spot for my craving. I did come to Deep Cove a different time, early on a Saturday morning and was disappointed to see them still closed. Wished they opened earlier. Other than that, it is worth checking out
Best coffee in Vancouver Area. Good atmosphere. You should visit Covert or like our family call it - Octopus Cafe (go there and check why)
We came across place by chance when we wanted Honey's and the lineup was too long. (Heard all the hype about Honey's)Have to say, this place has become the *first choice*. Best cinnamon buns in Vancouver! Great lattes too. Every time we've ordered a sandwich it's delicious! I don't' understand the few bad reviews. Have been a dozen times now and everything's been exceptional!Only downside is hours. Opens at 10. Cinnamon buns are rarely available at open. I've had to pass by a dozen times to get a 9:00 coffee and pastry fix. Probably a dozen times as well.Front staff are always friendly!
Amazing service, and even better coffee! Will be back
