The food here was excellent! The restaurant manager, Shiva, was very accommodating and checked on customers constantly to ensure their experience was enjoyable. Even the head chef came out to ask about how everything was! We ordered the butter chicken(which was available in halal if requested, and had it's own twist to butter chicken), cauliflower wings, Mac and cheese for the kids, and the chicken quinoa. Everything was great!
Called ahead to make sure it was open and there was availability for lunch. Was told to come on down. What they failed to mention was that you need to pay $60 per person just to enter the park area in order to go to the restaurant. No idea what the food is like but the uber ride there and then back was great :/The park looked alright, there’s a bridge that is a tourist attraction, hence the ticket price.
Before you leave the suspension bridge make sure you eat here and order the Salmon!!! It is so freaking good! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You should also play with the old register.
Amazing service and very friendly staffs. And the view of this place is just magnificent. Their menu is just wonderful. And I have met some amazing people who are working there. They are really welcoming. I ordered an espresso martini and the employee made it for me even though that was not in their menu at the time. And it was so good as well. I would recommend this place to all nature lovers and I am definitely gonna come back here soon.
They are awsome here they made a vegetarian burger dish for me apon request
Went here after finishing the walk on Capilano Suspension Bridge and the other tree top trails in the park. The place was pretty full and people were seated outside fireside even though it was -8°C. We started with a local brewed blood orange beer and a glass of wine and some truffle fries. The fries are thick cut potatoes and a bit oily. For main course we had Lois Lake Steelhead salmon which comes on a bed of quinoa, corn and black bean and Aloo curry(the best) which comes with naan, basmati rice and mango sauce.
Amazing food. The staff are very friendly and wonderful I have been there twice and had never been disappointed. Highly recommend the brisket when the have it on the menu.
The Cliffhouse in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, North Vancouver is a great place for lunch when exploring the fantastic sites the park has to offer. Ambience is really nice given that this is normally a high volume tourist spot. Menu and drink selection not extending but totally sufficient with standard fare. Their burgers are excellent, nicely cooked, served fresh and hot. The fries are aming the best I ever had. Wine by the glass exclusively from the Okanagan and beautiful. Service is prompt and our server, Hanna, was just very pleasant and a great person to have in attendance. As a local I have taken visitors to the park and from 4 weeks ago, she remembered me and warmly welcomed me back. In sum, cant ger much better than that
The best salmon I’ve ever had. Seriously.!! Simple healthy. Also had very nice cauliflower bites (vegetarian). Not cheap but not outrageous with a view of the capilano bridge right in the park. Highly recommended.
Food is a little on the pricey side BUT worth every penny. The whole menu is tasty. I've have tried a few dishes. The chef's take pride in their food and plating. The food is plated and presented very nice. The service is a bit on the slow side. The Host is a bit all over the map, she tends to leave guests waiting while cleaning unnecessary tables or going and grabbing more menus to wipe down. Servers tend to get overwhelmed easily which leaves the guests a bit confused. They stopped letting guests in due to getting busy but they forget they have done that and left the guests waiting until they leave. Servers need to communicate better. So have patience when going.
