Nice, friendly atmosphere with great sushi. Carefully prepared rolls and dishes are almost too gorgeous to eat! Great to go with friends or a quiet lunch on your own.
First time here and very pleasantly surprised. Sushi was fresh and tasty and well presented. Fried things are a highlight, the yam fries are delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is plentiful. Will definitely come back with the rest of the family. Great find and friendly service.

Or 'Thank You' Capilano sushi!You have served my frequent post-snowboarding sushi cravings for a long time now and always delivered consistently delicious dope grub!!This joint has a quaint, laid back and cozy eatery area with very efficient service dicing up tasty grub as well as ginormous fat portions, freshly stuffed rolls among wholesome and plentiful sashimi cuts are their key to consistency which is a great experience at good value for money.The menu caters well for many different tastebuds and showcases a mix of hot and cold options for veggies, pescatarians and meat eaters with some edgy and quirky roll infusions. One thing I also love is their rotating combo deals which are great and awesome value for money.There is brown rice options at a sweet add on price and makes some super delicious rolls.The only thing I can fault is that the Miso Soup 味噌汁 is a bit too salty.Thumbs up would visit again in a heartbeat and chowed down every last bite of that grub with a huge grin on my face. Solid location with plenty of parking .. a solid go-to option!アダムSupport local businesses!
I didn’t expect much at this place but their food was good. Better than two other sushi restaurants near by Sushi Town and Sushiman. The sushi cook was nice, waiting time was short. I love that all the pieces were cut evenly. I would definitely come back for more takeout
These guys are the best....and I'm not just talking about the food! Easily our "go to" on the Shore for fresh-tasty-take-away-sushi lunch! The restaurant is quaint, cozy and the service is always upbeat with a friendly smile!Good peeps, good food - go here, you will not be disappointed!
After reading the other reviews, it feels like I didn’t visit the same place… We visited today at 3:30 for a late lunch and were the only people in the restaurant. No one greeted us when we came in; we were given a glare by a member of staff who was sitting at the bar, and we felt so unwelcome we had to ask if they were open for dine-in.Our server said no more than ten words to us the entire time we were there, and he obviously did not want to be there (poor posture, shuffling and dragging his feet when he walked away, etc.). Our table was dirty and clearly hadn’t been wiped down, with fish egg and glass rings across much of it.The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Great presentation, good portion sizes, and fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the ebi mayo and spicy crunch roll.Unfortunately, the great food couldn’t make up for the abysmal service and dirty tables. I don’t think I’ll try Capilano Sushi again, but if I do, it will likely be for take-out only.
This was by far the dirtiest Restaurant i have visited in a very long time. The tables were dirty, menus alike, just generally in a bad state. The food was also quite poor quality. I personally didn’t want to eat any of it, smelled of old fish. My husband who ate most of all the food we order felt a bit uneasy moments after we left the restaurant. Basically we will eat here or order from here again.
