Visited here for lunch. I really like this place. Comfortable, North Shore-type ambiance with lots of wood and sunlight. The washrooms are clean. The tables aren’t wiped down as often as I would prefer, but I understand that there’s staffing shortages everywhere. It’s not as busy here as somewhere like Honey’s down the road, but can get quite full during peak times. The food is locally sourced with a great menu selection considering its size. I’ve tried the waffle special, avocado on toast, and the espresso flight. Enjoyed all of them. For an afternoon with the laptop in Deep Cove, this place is my go to.
Cafe Orso saved the day when every other waffle joint was closed! It’s located in breathtaking Deep Cove in North Vancouver. After enjoying the most delicious waffles, beer and fruffy non alcoholic drinks, we had plenty of time to wander around and take in the view. This place is a must visit, especially for first date or if you need a break from downtown Vancouver. They had plenty of food options and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Can’t wait to come back for a second helping of waffles!
Love the clean, open and modern vibe of this coffee shop. The European breakfast is the bomb! Great latte too. The BEST coffee shop at Deep Cove.
Yummy yummy! From their incredible-never-dissappointing avocado on toast to their various speciality coffees, I'll keep coming back! The last time in Deep Cove, 6 years ago, I still recall their fantastic dishes. The deliciousness lives on! Also, the interior design and art makes for a calm and happy experience.
One of the best in Vancouver, and that's saying something! My go to for a flat white - order one almost every time I am there. They use local beans, beer, wine, bread, etc. They have way more options than other coffee shops including waffles and artisan avocado on toast. Perfect place to study or grab a coffee after hiking Quarry Rock. Owners and staff are lovely people as well! Cheers
We ate here a few years ago, while on vacation in Vancouver. My family and I rented a boat and stopped in Deep Cove for lunch. We walked to the end of the street and found Cafe Orso!I had the avocado toast and it was the best I’ve ever had! The bread and avocado were so fresh- I dream about it regularly when I make it at home.
I’m super happy with the quality of breakfast here. They have a super limited menu for food options however the drink menu make up for it.The cafe itself is modern and has cute detailing. We enjoyed our breakfast in calm and quiet atmosphere around 9:30am on a Saturday. ☺️
Went today and ordered Macha latte and caramel machiato and the drinks tasted amaazing. If I could I would give this cafe 6 stars. The staff was kind and the order was quick. I also love how there was a really wide selection of drinks. I recommend this place to everyone who goes to deepcove. I'm definitely visiting this cafe again
Café Orso is a great spot to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. It’s a cozy café with a good amount of seating. I always order a flat white when I get there, they are consistently great. Food-wise, they have a lot to offer. Their waffles and almond croissants are sweet and tasty, they also have some delicious savoury open-faced sandwiches for lunch. If you’re in Deep Cove, go check them out!
One of my favourite spots on the North Shore! Love their avocado toast and the chutney they serve with it. Their chai tea lattes are mr favourite. Nice ambience and welcoming staff. Can’t wait to visit again!
