Lovely service as this cactus club. I have been here a couple of times now and I know this location is reliable for great food and great service consistently! Tonight, our server Joe did a better job than my serve at Joe Fortes during my bday dinner. Would recommend!
Great tasting food, fresh, hot, great and prompt service with lots of smiles. We ordered the Creole chicken and the Hunter chicken as we as the cheese cake. All 3 were simply fantastic!! Highly recommended!
*I never write reviews, unless my experience is especially good, or especially bad. Was just in today, March 6th, 2022, leaving just now at 4:53pm at this location. My whole family was very disappointed with the lack of quality service, and attention to detail. We watched all three of our burgers sit at the pass for over 10 minutes, waiting to be taken by our server and brought to our table. However, this was not the case. My dad unfortunately had to go up to our server, who was standing at the centre console for nearly the entirety of our visit, and ask if that is our food sitting “over there” for 10+ minutes, and it indeed was. My dad’s burger and fries were room temperature, and not hot like he would have liked. Our server (who we did not get the name of), briefly apologized, with no compensation however. Our server did not ask us how our food was, did not ask us about the rest of our day plans upon payment and departure from the restaurant, etc. It was very odd. I have NEVER had this experience at a Cactus Club. Ever. In addition, there were far too many staff in that tiny location, ironic for the amount of staff they had how lousy the service was. There were more staff in that restaurant than there were guests. Our server did take my dad’s burger off of our bill, and while that was a nice gesture, it did not come close to making up for the lack of service we had tonight. Will NOT be coming back. *For reference, so the management team reading this review has a better idea of who our server was, note the time and day, and we were sitting in the first booth on the left of the front entrance.
The choices, quality of food and price for Dine-out Vancouver was excellent. I had the caesar salad, the Butternut Squash Ravioli and an Apple Tart. All for $38. My partner had the chili chicken appetizer, the Blackened Chicken main course and a piece of cheesecake!
Family birthday celebration Make your reservation online. This place is busy.Free street parking and in a tiny lot out back.The food is good. The beyond burger was delicious! I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and it was nice. There was a garlic / onion allergy and the Cactus Club had a challenge offering safe options. Chicken strips and fries was the solution. (I am sure they could have done better)Dessert was yummy. Some kind of a lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was so good! The birthday boy was offered an apple pie which he enjoyed. (thanks Cactus Club!)We knocked off a star because their allergy-safe solution for an elderly woman was disappointing. She had a kids meal (chicken strips and fries?!?) And also, the place was REALLY noisy. Our party of 5 had a difficult time sharing a conversation. Struggles to hear what was being said.The service was excellent and the food good.
This place is the 1st Cactus Club Cafe.The place is cozy and nice!The food was amazing, we had Four Mushroom stake, Bandara Salad.The service was so fast and nice.Parking is available!So lovely experience.Recommended!
My family and I had a great experience. This location was special because it is the first ever Cactus Club. They have items that are not in the other locations. Our server Joe was great! He made our visit a very enjoyable one. The kids loved their food (they even devoured their salads!)and their hot chocolate. I had my favourite cactus dish (butternut squash ravioli) and couple of lovely drinks.
I was mostly satisfied with my dine in experience here. Our server was very attentive and ensured our food came in a timely manner. I ordered dessert near the end and it did not come after 30 minutes. I had to flag down the manager to ask where my dessert was. The manager was very professional and apologized for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated. Because of the inconveniences, the manager compensated for my dessert arriving late. Great service!
Had a wonderful mid week lunch here with a pal. We had a comfy booth and excellent service! Lexie was great with suggestions and just awesome with our whole visit! Food was delicious! This is my favourite Cactus Club!
The food here is always good and consistent! Every time we come we are kindly greeted and we’ll taken care of. This is also the original Cactus club and their unique as the other ones do not look like this one! If You want good food and good service come here you will not be disappointed. Ps the crispy chicken sandwich is very tasty!
