A fabulous wedding location...however,The food and organization left a lot to be desired. Arriving at 5 the staff were still busy “setting up” and the atmosphere chaotic. At the bar the young man did not know if there was wine! The appetizers were okay with the exception of the oysters, two at my table who ate them had tummy woes the day after. The white wine was not chilled we ask for red it never arrived. The soup was cold, the salad okay, the salmon dry and cold 2 at my table had salmon the others the chicken pasta that remained untouched as I looked at other tables the pasta remained mostly untouched as it was not eatable! The cake on the tables ditto and the coffee was out by the time we made our way to it. How can you ruin an otherwise beautiful wedding on June 25th the location and beautiful weather saved the day.If you are unable to staff such an event you should NOT...to spoil such an important day is unthinkable and 150 Guests will not be recommending this venue for dinner.I do hope you will find a way of solving these issues and compensate the wedding hosts.
Terrible service - the waitress was unpleasant. After we were seated at a table we asked to move to a more shady table (our food had not yet arrived) and she said it was impossible to move after we were seated at a particular table. I also asked to remove ingredients from the burger and the dish came with the ingredients. When I told this to the waitress she claimed I did not mention it to her (I do). However, she replaced the dish. The price is expensive and the food is not of good quality.
Wonderful view specially if it is not cloudy.Very nice vibe and atmosphere.Food was okay. Burger was delicious, other menu was not the best though.Cod and Chips was also okay.Staff been professional and nice but service was not as expected. In general I recommend one time visit.
Views overlooking Vancouver and the water. We only had a bowl of soup but it was very good. The Winter Wonderland drink was a defintie winner for the group. Great service. Would definitely go again if we make it up the sky ride.
We only had hot chocolate, deserts and snack there , but everything tasted great. The service was slowish but it’s fine.
Recently went to get some food after a ski, I had the mountain nachos which where delicious, but 4 dollars for guacamole is a bit crazy. I had a great time with my server, Faith. She was extremely kind and friendly, she made excellent reccomendations for drinks aswell.
Beautiful view, cozy bistro, clean and friendly service. Appetizers, salads and burgers were tasty.
All day we were treated like family. And the food was sublime! So impressed with this operation. The staff +view +food. ?
Firstly, I'm a regular at Altitudes, an oasis for me, as a hiker & snow shoe enthusiast. I have to say the service is consistently friendly & courteous - and several servers remember you when you return. All of the food is very tasty. I sometimes just have a beer & fries and that is just fine with them. The ambience is very warm & cozy, and the view spectacular of course. I recently took my grandkids here for the Santa's Breakfast and it was awesome! The servers here, as well as the management, deserve my praise. Darian is one good example! I will keep going back.
UPDATE November 1 2021.Management dosen't care about this place or reviews. They requested us to contact them to talk about the experience. We sent an email and never heard back. Please avoid this place you might get sick. vending machine and the cafe downstairs is way better. Grouse mountain is worth your time but not this restaurant.Original review0 Stars if i could.Save your money and buy a meal from a vending machine or maybe the coffee place downstairs. Our first time in the mountain was almost ruined by this place. This was probably the worst food experience i had in a restaurant in a while, and i emphasize on food because i believes the server made the impossible to make it right but wow.The quality of the food was the absolute worst...... we were a group of 4 and none of us got the food right. We got 2 Burgers and were overcooked and borderline burned. My friend's onion rings were so oily they were dripping out of the table. My other friend had a bowl and the rice was not cooked properly and the falafel was terrible. My Girlfriend got some crab sliders, and i guess they were ok but for the price we paid they were a let down. And finally the duck Poutine was the worst i had in my life.Is very rare i write a review but this place was such a let down.Ps. I got stomach sick from eating here...
