Combo breakfast with great roasted coffee was awesome. Price affordable and very clean. Staff and service was excellent. Will go back again. This is A&W Courtenay location across from superstore.
If your order seems watered down it likely is. Wouldn't even refund the bad product just gave me a different one. Last time giving money here and it's honestly quicker then most other fast food joints.
The manager and staff are nice and this A&W is like a local restaurant while (weather permits) you can sit outside and enjoy your food. Though there is a drive through here as well.

It's sad.I've been going to this placesince it was a drive in, and90% of the time my meal and others meals were fine. Exactly what we ordered. Sadly, A&Ws has gone to pot.I think I'm speaking words that other will understand, but I've beenproven wrong over the past few years. This has lead to every second order being wrong or incomplete. And their attitude when pointing this out is not, " I'm sorry" but just nothing. And this A&W is charging MORE than others in the lower mainland. It's at least a dollar and with several orders it's up to 5.I should challenge them, but they have no shame, so why bother? I just tell others to check their bills.
I love this location! One of the best in Vancouver, and the best in the North Shore period, at least in my opinion. Except for the rare times at night (which is understandable), they always get your drive-thru order right, and into your hands very quickly. Inside, their service is friendly and impeccable. They personally helped deliver my tray to the table (since I'm on a crutch), and with a wonderful attitude to boot.A huge thank you to the workers of this location. You make our days so much better with your professionalism and compassion. :)The food quality is delicious as well, and better than other locations I've been to. A&W always holds themselves to a high standard, but this location uses very fresh ingredients, freshly prepared sauces, drinks, and coffee, and more. I recommend the yam fries with chipotle mayo sauce, you'll see what I mean!Looking very forward to coming back to this location again!
I ordered two beyond burgers with no cheese or mayo, waited 10 minutes for two Beyond Burgers, drenched in mayo. Gave them back and waited 10 minutes more to get the same two burgers with the without vegetables and the mayo washed off.This isn’t a one time thing, the service is poor and and slow, they regularly get your order wrong, and this is the only A&W in Canada that will charge you for a soda water.Basically, this A&W is unapologetically bad and will charge you $3 more than any other A&W restaurant. I hope that more people report this A&W to corporate because they’re simply tarnishing the brand and that’s a shame.
best fast food place in North Van in my opinion, good environment and rich food, the meat and specially the chicken tastes really good, is fresh and has good quality. prices are higher than other places like McDonalds but 100% worth it if you value your foods quality.
