Cảm ơnSuper jealous of my friends Vegan Lemongrass Chicken Rice Dish Gà (xào sả ớt), this was without a doubt a solid five star and phenomenal dish with great vibrant lemongrass flavor and super yummy soy-like texture from the imitation chick'n. My Spicy Vegan Soup Pho Chay 越南河粉汤 was a big letdown, did not look like the photos as advertised and barely had a sniff of vegetables as perceived from the photos and description. It was also more oily than Spicy and not the best.Albeit, my cà phê đá việt nam saved the day! Extremely tasty, refreshing and boasting that incredibly rich flavor from authentic vietnamese coffee, yum!! The perfect compliment to a sweet craving post lunch. This is a nice joint, good varied Vegan menu serving authentic vietnamese grub at average fare in a comfortable laid back environment.Order over 30 bucks and get a refreshing can of coconut water!Support local businesses!
I've lived here for about a month and I think I've ate here 4 times? It is incredible. Extremely fresh and flavourful plant based dishes. I've tried 2 different things so far: The vegan Vermicelli spring roll bowl and the Vietnamese vegan salad rolls with ginger pineapple chili sauce. I want to try more but these are just so good. I will eventually. I've done both dine-in and pickup. The quality of both was the same. Service is extremely kind. Very casual dining environment where you help yourself to water and other condiments. Wifi is good. The only thing I will say is the dining room is really hot, so taking it to-go is a good option!
Had the Shrimp Salad Wrap (C1 on the menu). Wow that was very fresh and tasty. Also had lots of vegan options too if you prefer that.Would definitely go more often if I could.
The food is good every time I go there. Got different items this time; the vegan spicy noodle soup (with vegan ball instead of the vegan beef slides) a passion fruit iced tea and the vegan ginger chicken banh mi to have later on. The food was prepared right away and fast.Words of advice: the soup was quite spicy so you might want to wear goggles while eating it so that you don't have an eyeball-burning splashing incident. You also may not want to inhale to cool down your mouth when it comes out piping hot so as not to inhale the spicy fumes and make yourself cough and your nose run like a sick person may have. Take caution my fellow eaters (but I'd order it again in a heartbeat!)The iced tea was the perfect balance of ice to drink and sweet to bitter with REAL passion fruit flavour (but no seeds.)The banh mi was the amazing crunchy but soft loaf with the right amount of crunchy veggies and gooey, saucy "chicken".
One of the best vegan Vietnamese restaurants in greater Vancouver. I don't live around the area but whenever I'm in the neighborhood I make sure to stop by. The noodle soups are delicious if you have time to sit down and eat there. Otherwise my go-to is to order a couple of their banh mi's (particularly the lemongrass "chicken" and BBQ "pork"), the vermicelli salad, and spring rolls. This place can get really busy during lunchtime so best to come a bit before lunch or after to avoid waiting.
I always get the Vietnamese vegan rolls and they are so yummy. They come with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Ingredients are always fresh!! Thanks ?
It was ok. The baguette was very light and crunchy but it was also light on the toppings. The salad rolls were very good though. Would return for salad rolls.
I ordered veggie pho and salad roll.Salad roll was amazing. However The pho was so bad. Amount of noodle was too little as The picture shows , and it was too soggy I had to use a spoon to grab noodles.
Absolutely delicious food!It has a quiet atmosphere that is great for people watching if you sit by the large windows. I liked the service, polite but they don't pester people about the meal like big chain restaurants, and the location is awesome! There is parking outside, and it is kitty-corner from the SkyTrain.I went pre COVID and a couple of times after. I loved it every time.
Have to talk about the bad service. Not rude by any means, but we had to approach the waitress on everything: getting water, ordering food, getting the bill. I'd still come back as the food was alright (a bit sparse on the ingredients) and there's a great selection of vegan stuff (allergic to dairy and eggs unfortunately, so they were a godsend). To management, don't take it too hard, but please put a bit more emphasis on service when you get the chance. Times are tough and I'd love to see this place succeed and expand!
