Staff was really good. Our server was very attentive and quick. Would like to see some more innovative dishes. But the food served was tasty.

Been to the Boathouse many times in the past but first time in a while. Generally go to White Rock but first time to New West Service was OK… menu used to be able to be modified to cater to food allergy (celiac) but seems like menus has been adjusted so no accommodation can be made End of the day, the person with celiac found something BUT ended up getting sick. Probably due to cross contamination Most likely won’t be back… at least not to New West

Server was great but the crab legs were $100 a pound and the amount received was definitely not 1 pound. Ridiculously overpriced for the poor quality.

We had a reservation and am glad we were seated in the lounge by a window, it was quiet there. It took awhile to get our menus;the server was very nice but long times between appearances

For a change me and my wife wanted to have seafood at a restaurant. I’d been to this location before, therefore I chose this one.

Sitting on the patio on a summer evening with great service & food and a beautiful view makes for a memorable and lovely evening!

Liked having a table outside on the patio. Nice view of the river Our server was very attentive and friendly. We liked having the Landry's card to get the $25 discount. Plus it was nice to have a complimentary dessert for our anniversary . Good portion too. We think the Boathouse is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

I had dinner here with two other people on a Monday night (Aug 8). Neither of my companions had any complaints, which is why this isn't a one star review overall, but my experience was very different. On the upside, the service was above average and the drinks were good. That shouldn't be the end of the upside for this type of restaurant. On the downside, I was served the most poorly shucked oysters I've ever seen and two over cooked steaks. Of the dozen oysters that I ordered for my appetizer, four were served on broken shells, at least half had bits of shell in them and there wasn't a drop of oyster liquor in any of them. I ordered steak and lobster for my entree, medium rare on the steak. It came out medium well and the replacement was definitely medium with only a hint of pink. The side of sauteed mushrooms I added had neither any colour nor any flavour to them. I only ate the medium steak because my companions had mostly finished their dinners by then. The manager apologized about the steak (I hadn't brought up the oysters to the waiter) and comped a dessert & coffee. I joked that it was my fault for ordering beef at a place called the Boathouse. Honestly though, it simply wasn't an acceptable dining experience, especially when you consider the prices we were being charged. I regret not raising more of a stink to get the entree comped, even if that's not my usual style. It will be a long, long time (if ever) before I go back to the New Westminster Boathouse or recommend it to anyone else.

Great spot on waterfront, great food, nice, comfy seating, and excellent service.

We were there for brunch - 4 ladies. Sat outside and it was wonderful Server was good. We had to ask for further drinks but other than that no problems. Food was delicious, enough on the plate to fill us up.
