The owner is the nicest, friendliest man ever and puts care & thought into his dishes. The is a hidden gem in New West and should not be missed. He's been in business 32 years and one taste and you will see why.

A hidden gem! We had no idea of this restaurant until we stumbled across it by accident. Excellent food and service. We also got talking to the owner who is a very nice gentleman and it was immediately apparent that he takes great pride in what he delivers to his customers. I would highly recommend Royal Tandoori for anyone looking for tasty and authentic Indian cuisine in the New Westminster area.
Great place to grab Indian food in New West! Such friendly service with amazing fresh and delicious food. The portions are big for the value even if you buy their combos! Some of my favourites are the vegetable pakora, garlic naan and butter chicken. Support this local business if you live in town or ever visit highly recommend to all
My favourite Indian restaurant that I got takeout from weekly when I lived in New West. I've moved to Burnaby but will still hit up the Royal Tandoori whenever I'm craving.My usual are the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken plus tons of butter naan. The lamb vindaloo is the one dish that keeps me coming back as I haven't been able to find another restaurant that tastes as good.
I love this place! Honestly the best Indian food in the lower mainland - fresh, tasty, feeds our family for days. Dal Makhani and Channa Curry are two of my favourite veggie dishes. We look forward to this takeout feast for special occasions. Staff is always friendly and super helpful for ordering and pickup.
Best Indian Food I've literally EVER had. Samosas and Pakoras I don't even have words to describe how much better this is than everything I've ever had. Even better this place will make sure you get what you want...food made fresh, so many Vegan options. #1 food anywhere in Lower Mainland not just Desi.
I would highly recommend this place! It is a super sweet couple that runs it and it is definitely full of authentic flavor, well-balanced ingredients and so much love. If you’re looking for a solid Indian restaurant in new Westminster, this is the place you want to try. The decor needs a bit of a hug but the food is absolutely outstanding.
