It’s a great place for gathering with friends. Food is good but not top notch. Good enough for its price and vibe.Service is just ok. We were a party of 3 with a reservation made 5 days in advance, for 2.30pm on a Saturday when the peak was over. But still we were seated at a small table to start with. Way too small for all the dishes and drinks we ordered. At the end we had to request to switch to a bigger table. Attention and care for customers are lacking. It’s really the small things that make you stand out!
Decided to come here after proposing to my companion and we had the most delightful night to end the day thanks to the amazing food at Piva. Everything we ordered was delicious, the music wasn't loud and disruptive, and we were taken good care of by the staff. All these factors contributed to an unforgettable dining experience that we will look back on fondly.We ordered:Warm olives - would recommend, long lasting delicious appetizer.Butternut Squash Soup - a smooth and tasty delight to savour and enjoy.Gnocchi - A hearty meal which just screamed comfort food for us. We loved it.Duck & Fig Pizza - we don't eat pork so we asked if we could replace one of the meats and opted to get extra duck. It was simply divine. What an amazing amalgamation of flavours in our mouths.10/10, would recommend.Everyone needs to try this place out.
This was an amazing place to go for dinner. The wild boar appitzers were fantastic and the rustic Italian pizza was amazing!Also had probably the best smokey whiskey of my entire life. So smooth.Daniel was our server and he was the MVP. Honestly, one of the most proficient servers I've ever had. Never had to ask for anything, he was there!All around, this is the place you got to go if you like Italian!
We had a terrible experience from the first steps we entered the restaurant. We wanted to dine in without a reservation and the young lady at the reception replied that are fully booked taking in consideration that half of restaurant was empty. Another colleague stepped in and mentioned that they would help accommodate our party of 8 at 2 separate tables, but as walked to our table we found out that they had only one table for 4. We tried to speak with a manager (looked like the manger) but he didn’t care at all and treated us miserable “if you want only one table take it fast”. We agreed to dine in at 1 table and my brother left and went to a different place. We spent over 1 h and the table besides us and the one in the back were always empty. It seems they don’t care about anything. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Service and experience terrible!

Love the decor and spaciousness.Service: promptly seated with reso, attentive staff, able to provide recommendations and daily specials with ease, frequently check on without being bothersome.Food: healthy portions, well balanced, delicious.Would recommend and have actually been here a few times.

Had a lot of issues the other day getting skip delivery (not the fault of Piva in any way) they remade my meal fresh after the driver was 45 mins late and delivered it via Uber at their cost. These guys rock and not to mention the food is great!
Had a great experience here for dinner, the food and service were exceptional.Every dish was delicious and the portions are generous. The service can be a little on the slow side, but the time will pass quickly thanks to the great wine and cocktail range.It can be a bit loud at times, but it gives the place a fun, lively vibe. This is a great place for a dinner date, a night out or a special occassion, but not a place to take kids.I'll be revisiting in the future, if only to try more items from the menu!
I can’t believe I’ve never been here, and I’ve driven past it so many times! Such amazing, well thought out decor, amazing lighting, and DELICIOUS food! The Brussels sprouts are a must—the crispiest and most flavourful I’ve ever had! The pastas were all amazing, and our server Iain was so accommodating and friendly :) will definitely come back again, there’s so much to try!If you’re with a small group/family, ask about their “Family Style” dining experience!
