Quite literally the best pizza we’ve had in Vancouver so far. The outside and location is very unassuming but definitely make your way here ASAP.The atmosphere, staff and owner were warm and inviting. We ended up being seated at the bar but was able to then learn more about their pizza making process and talk to the staff who were so kind and welcoming. The pizza itself was so so good. We had the Pasquale which was perfectly seasoned and the Diavola which had delicious notes of salty, sweet and a hint of spice. Highly highly recommend as all the ingredients and toppings are made in house and fresh. Can’t wait to come back to try all the other pizzas :)
We had their gluten free pizza crust, hands down the best gluten free pizza in the lower mainland. We didn't try their sourdough crust (which they apparently make with wheat that they mill themselves), I bet it's out of this world. Service and decor was great! I wish they would bring their services to Vancouver as well! Definitely will be my go to place for when I'm craving pizza or want my company to enjoy a great meal without having to sacrifice too much for my dietary restriction!
L’Onore had the freshest pies I’ve ever tasted. The owner hand mills the grains for the sourdough, and man’s the oven personally to ensure the quality. If I had to use one word to describe everything I tasted here it’s going to be the word “fresh.” These were definitely top quality pies, and with that comes top quality price. I do feel that you get your money’s worth here in terms of the quality of food.Super happy with the food, and the owner was super nice. Think there just needs to be better communication between the servers and host team though.Margherita Queen 10/10A perfect rendition of a classic.Pasquale 10/10The ham was thinly sliced, and paired super well with the tomato sauce and Parmigiano cheese. I also added the house made organic pork sausage on top which was also delicious!Honey Garlic Oven Roasted Wings 10/10Unlike most honey garlic wings, the sauce at L’Onores had more acidity to it. Giving a tangy twist to the classic sweet and savoury. Tip: save the sauce to dip your pizza into. It was a glorious comboCheck out my food page @vancity_foodi on Instagram for more reviews (and yummy reels ?)!
We had a lovely dining experience here. The pizza crust is perfect and probably the best we have ever had. The owner and chef came to our table to chat with us and it is clear he is passionate about his craft. The owner says that he mills his own flour every night which is very impressive. We will come back and we thoroughly enjoyed and recommend the pepperani and diavola pizzas.
Amazing pizza. I didn’t know that this was here in new west, it was a suggestion made by my mom and I don’t regret trying. We ordered the pizza and when I arrived, the pizza wasn’t ready and they apologized (although I wasn’t concerned) and offered me a drink while I waited. The pizza seemed to be of the Italian style and not the kind of western pizza you would typically order. It tastes good and it also feels light so you’re not going to get bloated if you have no self control haha. When it comes to the actual restaurant, it seems like it’s also a bar. They have lots of drinks on the wall and I’d imagine they have drinks on their menu as well.
This pizza is the best! Authentic and made with the freshest local ingredients - definitely not your average North American pizza! The sourdough crust is divine- organic and painstakingly made every day in house. I never get a chance to take photos because we devour everything as soon as it hits the table! The owner is friendly and obviously very passionate about making delicious food. The first time we visited, he brought over some of the grain he had just harvested and let us sample the wheat berries, while sharing his story. Tonight when we went, he came and wished us a happy women’s day and invited my daughter to make a pizza! I would give them more stars if I could…
Pizzas were all very good, so were the warm olives and meatballs. I forgot to take photos as the food smelled and looked so good as it was brought to the table and I got distracted with eating…which is what I should be doing in a restaurant instead of taking pictures of my food! Awesome service as well.
Looking for a good pizza place in new west? Then this is your right spot. Super friendly staff and owners. Diavola pizza was super juicy and tasty, that honey drizzle makes a big difference.I personally didn’t like the funguy (mushroom) pizza. Pocketman was good but I’d recommend to try their seasonal instead.Dough was great, hot served pizza all in all 4/5. You can always ask for chili or balsamic sauce on the side if you need a bit of a kick.
I grabbed take out here multiple times and loved their pizza! Decided to celebrate my birthday here and we all loved the food, the ambiance and hospitality. They made me feel very special that night- I felt like I was at a close family’s restaurant. They even brought out the chef to help cut our cake which we all loved!! Best restaurant I’ve been to in a really long time!
I'm blown away. I eat pizza everywhere. I have had the best, and the worst. I live above a Pizza Garden, and down the street from Ludica, so trust me when I say that I am a pizza veteran.I had never heard of L'Onore before randomly walking past today, so I had to look at the menu. I'm a vegetarian, so I'm usually relegated to the margherita or the quattro formaggi, but this place had options for days! Also, the owner is SERIOUS about where he sources his ingredients, and you can tell. His arugula was so fresh that I couldn't feel the stems, and the confit garlic was next level.I will say, you get what you pay for. This isn't budget pizza, but that Bufala is cash money. Even my mocktail was legit.I really am surprised. There are two kinds of restaurants; ones that you go to because they are close and easy, and ones that you go to for the restaurant. This is the latter, and I have no idea why I had never heard of this place before.I had the Rocketman, for anyone wondering.
