We sat on the patio! Really nice place and enjoyed the view! Drinks were also good, we ordered onion rings and fries, the fries were great but the onion rings didn’t have much of a taste to them. Little tricky to find the place if you’ve never been! Also not the restaurants fault but just be careful in the specific area since the elevator and stairs coming up are a little on the sketchier side…
Food is moderate and pricey. Happy hour all day is great! Food views! Pay parking downtownstairs. Food is a random selection if you ask me. We wanted to grab another drink before they close they said no as they closed the tills and we weren't told last call. The bartender she was too busy chit chatting with the regulars when this happened. Patio heaters do not work either.
Best Service and Food! This place has the best Service I've had in the 3 years I've been in the Vancouver area. We had a toddler with us and they were really great with him. The food was great to boot! I don't know how this place has a 3.6 star rating.
One of the hidden gems of New Westminster, located inside the New West skytrain station (upper level). Excellent food and environment and services. We had a great experience there today and we'll come back for more.
The food wasn't very good, and I didn't satisfy with here customer service. I felt disrespectful and unpleasant from the servers. I asked two times if I could get my check, but the server seemed like they didn't care of us at all.Since I didn't like their service, I was considering how much tip might be reasonable for them. One of the servers added their tip without notifying me and got me paid. I feel very being fooled and annoyed. I'll never visit here again anymore.The manager might be better to train them well again.
The food at the restaurant had a modarate taste and the beer section has many good choice.The server had provided a terrible customer service which lead to a bad experience. Be careful when paying as the servers tip themselves without letting you know and make you pay for it. Requesting the manager to provide more traning in order to atleast provide the bare minimum customer service. Wouldn't suggest this place with your friends as it's not as friendly as it looks.Rude servers and below average food.
You can bring pets inside! Family friendly service! The food is big too! Felt like their mac and cheese was big enough for three people! Definitely felt like a downtown atmosphere also with the vibe of the restaurants. Good place to hang out if you are looking for some sky train restaurants.
I want to start off by saying that the service was good, our waitress was attentive and nice. The beer was also yummy. The reason my review is 2/5 is for the following reasons: I paid $20 for chicken and waffles. Two small less than palm sized waffles and a very thin small piece of chicken. On a plate with a plastic cup of thick gravy and a tiny metal cup of maple syrup. Not only was it a really unappetizing looking beige meal, it was less food then I would get at fast food. The other meal we ordered was the hub burger, which was tasty, but Christ—$21.95 plus $2.50 for a Caesar salad. The salad was tiny and super saucy that the lettuce was limp. Between my partner and myself we had 3 beers. After tip I paid over $100 for 3 beers and two SMALL meals. We were left hungry after… I was too embarrassed to say anything because my friends were there but I was pretty upset. Looking across the table my friends, they have this massive plate of Mac and cheese they shared between them. How can the meals be soooo not equal to one another in regards to portion? But yeah the chicken and waffles was a disgrace honestly. Other than for maybe beers and only beers, we won’t be back. The hub used to be good… but now the prices and food quality is the fuckin’ pits
Much better than when I first tried it years ago. Prices are on the higher side but no longer seem like they're gouging you. They've got pitchers of cocktails! Who doesn't like that?
Do you remember,,, years ago we use to go to the neighborhood bar and just had a good time sharing laughs and eating good food and enjoying the genuinity and professionalism of the staff. You know?? The real deal. The one who cared and had passion about what they're doing. Well!!! Right here people. Jessica will make you feel welcome and wanted and important. She is just real man. I wish there was more Jessica's in the industry. A person that appreciate what she does.
