Dropped by during lunch for a drink and snack (bubble waffle). I got the milk foam oolong milk tea which was really nice. You can adjust the sweetness level and also get hot vs. cold options. I usually can't take caffeine but I was fine with this.The original waffle was pretty good! It also comes in other flavours, and can be topped with pearls.The space is so cute too (see pics). Bright and nicely decorated.
They have oat milk! I love bubble tea but milk alternatives are not very popular so I felt that I was missing out on the full experience ( picture sad lonely child looking at the happy milk teas) finally I can be like other kids!The milk tea selection here is vast and creative. They also have fruit tea options and great ambience for study/date daysPlay with the sugar and ice levels! I find i like certain drinks at 30% and others at 70% sweetness. Careful tho, the bubble waffles are addictive.
They said they use the real fruit but I only see the flavor ice slush not smoothie. I ordered mango smoothie expecting real mango to be inside but it was only full of the flavor ice slush. Also I included the yogurt but there were no yogurt inside as well or it's too little amount I never can taste.
expensive but finally I got to drink here! love the ambiance. there are lots of plugs so I would gladly hangout here and drink loads of milk teas! a bit expensive but bec of the ambiance I would still pay for it.they were open during Christmas while everything else was closed around them including Starbucks, Save On Foods, Tim Hortons, and Landmark.this will be my go to place here in New West now.
Love their new brown sugar series drinks! Both the brown sugar matcha latte and the brown sugar taro milk tea are rich in flavours. Getting them with pearls are a must because they add that extra texture in the drinks which made them more enjoyable. The dalgona bubble tea is also tasty and rich in coffee flavour. When you get regular sugar, it is a bit on the sweet side so if you have a sweet tooth, then this would be perfect for you!
Really neat interior decor. New star jelly has coconut flavor. Mango jelly has a unique texture. Would go again if I'm nearby.
The best tasty bubble tea! But could be nicer safer packaging for delivery please thanks. Like paper bag handle please instead of just a bag(bubble waffle) in a plastic bag. Over all the best tasty bubble tea ive ever tasted!!! ?

Great customer service! The interior is amazing and so nice to lounge in. One of my favourite places to order bubble tea from. I have been a big fan of Gong Cha's drinks and bubble waffles. They release such a refreshing and exciting series of flavors every season. In the winter, I had the chance to try their Rose Tie Guan Yin series and this summer their Grape series is so tasty!
My boyfriend and I went to Gong Cha New West for a media tasting recently. We tried some of their strawberry flavored drinks that are a part of their "Love Berry Much" series. The three we got were the Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte, Strawberry Smoothie with Creme Brulee, and Strawberry Black Tea.My favourite was the Strawberry Black Tea. I liked that I could taste the tea even through the sweetness of the strawberry flavour. It made for a refreshing summer drink!The Creme Brulee and the Smoothie were quite sweet, even though we did get 50% sweetness. I think the two drinks might have been too sweet because the creme brulee and the strawberry jam were already sugary on their own, so combining them in a drink together might have made both overly sweet. I learned after the fact that it is recommended to get either 0% or 30% sweetness level for both drinks. I think this would have definitely helped make them more balanced.In addition to the drinks, we also got to try some new toppings, which included their lychee pearls and strawberry flavored heart-shaped jelly. Both toppings are delightfully chewy and add an extra fruity sweetness to the drink. You can add them to your drinks for 99 cents extra per topping. I'd definitely recommend if you're feeling a little more adventurous and want to have something other than regular boba pearls!
