Went here on a whim waiting for an appointment. Great atmosphere and beautiful view. Friendly staff but when it came to the food it was sub par. I ordered a steak sandwich and I literally got a slab of fatty steak on a piece of white bread. Not even a sandwich.. the bread had nothing on it. No garlic butter or anything. The steak was very tough and the fat was not rendered down. I will go back but that menu item was very disappointing.
The food and drinks are good. The venue itself is good. I'm disappointed in the amount of single-use plastic used - straws, sauce cups, and skewers. I pointed out to the owner/manager that there are a number of great alternatives that could be used instead of adding to the plastic waste and was ignored. If they are unable to take part in their social responsibility of decreasing plastic waste (or other climate change actions) and ignoring a patron's suggestion (not even a thank-you, we'll consider it) I definitely will frequent alternative establishments. Unless I hear that changes have been implemented, I won't be back unfortunately.
The food was fine and it's a great little spot with a nice river view. The service wasn't that great. Took quite awhile to get service and the server didn't come by very often. Had to ask for a take out box twice. I will chalk it up with them being busy for St Patrick's day and as I said, it seems to have great potential so I will give them a chance to do better next time.
Very comfortable. Good looking place. Great view. Good pub food. AND so convenient to where I live.But... not sure I'll go back because:1- they seem to want to be a young dance bar even though their clientele is primarily 40+. It's loud pounding music and hard to talk. No one is dancing.2- the service is slow. The bartender is not the most aware person. The kitchen appears to get backed up easily.
12 minutes to get a beer from the nice purple haired server. That is not enough to get ramped up about (holding one star for working out the little bumps). Loved this place as the Brooklyn and still do nestled in along the Fraser. Tunes definitely my 70's jamb. Truly still love the vibe here. SECOND VISIT : Hipster bartender looked at my empty glass for over 5 minutes and still had time to collect 2 empty glasses from across the pub, thanks for the thoughtful neglect. Our server was good amd friendly. Just not a complete good feeling there. Ooooh and throw in some rap on a Sunday, what the @#$%^?
Just dropped in for a couple of drinks on a Sunday morning. Interior space quite large, great views from the river side seating area. Decent range of beers, good service, will have to return to try food menu.
The view is amazing. Service was excellent and food was great. Only thing I would suggest is to have more food options on the menu. I will definitely go back
My partner and I went for the first time last night and will be back to show our friends our new favourite spot in town! Great atmosphere - every Thursday is karaoke night so there was not only entertainment but all day happy hour menu. They also have a billiards table available. All the staff were welcoming upon entry and servers were great, looking after each other’s tables. Great service!
Nice location. Great views . Delicious food. Worth checking out if you are in new west.
Absolute gorgeous view , great service , awesome menu, newly renovated . The entire staff are courteous and professional.
