Discovered this fantastic family friendly spot this year! The family and I have made it a habit to get ice cream and yummy snacks from the concession.The staff here is always friendly and welcoming.Keep up the great work guys!

At long last, and minus the part at the extreme east end, this long narrow strip of waterfront has reopened to the public. It appears that locals are already aware of this, judging by the multitudes present this long sunny weekend. Out-of-town tourists should consider this site, not so much on its own, but in a suite with the walkway to the west, the wonderful gardens, and the small shopping centre for food and drink. Bring your camera and enjoy the views - I'm a local and never tire of them.
Out of town tourists may not be aware that, on 13 September, a fire destroyed a portion of the pier and the park. In trying to take some photographs for you, I found the WHOLE park, even that unaffected by the fire, is inaccessible. So, while this area should be stricken from your itinerary for the time being, there are many other attractions on the river just west of here; as described in TripAdvisor.
Thanks to the virus, this place is virtually empty. If you want a stroll along the river without being worried about "social distance" this park is for you.
