Came here before a movie last night and it was delicious. Although I had shawarma the other day, this was far more flavourful. It’s likely because the meat is also grilled further after they’ve sliced the meats off the large skewers. The sauce made all the difference along with the side tabbouleh.I’m coming back again when in the area.
Love the Donairs at this place. If you are looking for a good deal. Go between 11am to 5pm to get there lunch special. It's a donair chicken, lamb or falafel with a pop or water for 13 bucks.
The lovely Asian girl Katie? (I think thats her name) is very kind, this place is also the cleanest of all the franchises and freshest ingredients. 5/5 and this lovely woman deserves a raise! Great job guys
I have been visiting Donair Dude for over 14 years. Started at their first location on Davie street. It was convenient as I lived downtown.At some point when you begin to raise a family the suburbs start looking attractive, and that's what I did. Moved to Burnaby area.Was bummed out as there were no Donair Dudes near by. But a few years ago, a Donair Dude opened in New West., and was so happy it was closer than the downtown location.I come here for dinner once a week, and not once have I ever been disappointed. The owners and employees here do a phenomenal job. The Donairs are always fresh, delicious and their service is always top notch. The place is well kept, organized and clean. Simply put, the owners and employees care and this makes all the difference in the world.Lately our company have gone to Donair Dude New West. for catering for our lunch. I can tell you everyone at our company looks forward to Donair Dude. We have about 8 staff members and the amount of food can literally feed us for another day. And that is after everyone has had seconds because its soooo good!I look forward going to Donair Dude New West again. Best Donair in town. No other place comes close!
One of the healthier options for a quick take away meal. Although on the pricier side of ~$15 for this falafel rice plate I think is worth trying. It came 5 falafel balls on flavor rice with some side of salad with garlic sauce. There’s also a mini hummus with a half pita bread. Staff are courteous and the food was tasty enough.
It’s a scam , not at all like authentic donairs. $15 for bits of chicken over so much rice . I was there tonight and really disappointed with what I got . Small pieces of chicken way less than rice . You could barely eat anything with the pita bread . There are far better options than this people
The food is ok if they don't intend to sell you, older ones. But service is zero with all if them from A to Z. Ordered 2 chicken pittas, the tall lady like Asian was serving, open one chicken tray and was fresh, then she closed and opened the next one and it was over cooked or fried whatever and started adding, i requested her to add from 1st tray she opened cause that looked ftmresh to me, very rudly she replied they are all the same, and with bad attitude through my wraps. Poor service all over
Most comparable to a shawarma one can get in Dubai or other middle eastern country.Excellent quality and quantity for a decent price.Well maintained and clean location.been there quite a few times.freindly staff
