Table was wiped down, then we were seated. Table still had food stuck on top. Order didn’t come out as asked, only got one cup of coffee, even though we asked for more in the middle of our meal. Husband had to get hot sauce from another table, as we asked for it, and never got it.Disappointed for the cost of their food.
I would expect 3 or 4 star experience but nothing more from this location. We were sitted earlier than table next to us but was served after. That is fine but wasnt on a busy day.Food is alright but I feel price is high for quality/portion served.
Extremely mediocre and expensive breakfast food. Walk up 6th street for several higher quality options (Highlight, 6th street grill). Most of the menu is $18, and you are charged multiple dollars for every add on. I think a side of hollandaise is $3.50 for example. Most disappointing were the hash browns, just pre-frozen rectangles, not even very crispy.
Ordinary taste. Ordinary service. Overpriced plate. Anything I eat here, I can make it better.
We went today for New Year's Day breakfast.Restaurant was busy, but the service was excellent. The wait staff were friendly and the food came out quickly and was very good.They had alot of staff on today.I want to say 'Thank you' to the staff that work today and fantastic service ?.
It was a very quiet morning breakfast with little to no other customers when we went. (7-8am) the waitress was great. The food was warmly served on a larger plate making the food appear minimal. This location is placed on a busy artery in New Westminister.

I’ve been working in the restaurant industry for quite some time now, and I have been to this De Dutch on several occasions and can I just say I’ve never felt so much love and strong service at any other restaurant. This restaurant goes out of their way to ensure all guests get the best service possible, and takes top priority of meals coming out with high quality.This restaurant truly sets the standard for what good service is suppose to look like. Today was just another day my family and I came in, and unfortunately there was a medical emergency. As if I didn’t love this location already, but to drop everything and ensure the safety of your guest first over anything else in my eyes is unmatched. I always like to put myself in the shoes of others, and if this happened to one of my family members I would expect the same care.Thank you for your endless kindness, and your ability of making people days better with just a 30-40 min stay at your restaurant. Once again the meals were incredible and we can’t wait to come back again.
I’ve been to this location a few times now, and today there was an incident where someone got hurt. The staff were extremely helpful and attended to the person with excellent care. Makes me feel comfortable that they have their customers well-being as their priority. Some people were upset but the situation was well-handled and the wait time was more than understandable. Along that, their service is great and so is the food :)
I have eaten at this location many times, because of the good food and excellent service. Today there was a medical emergency where paramedics had to help a customer, the staff immediately helped the customer until the paramedics arrived and helped as much as they could afterwards. Its great to know what kind of caring service this place has for its customers. They still had good service towards their customers as well as caring for the injured customer.
