We came here on Sunday after an event. We arrived at 9:00 pm and were told that last call for food was 9:30 and for alcohol was 9:45 pm.Food was good, drinks were good, but it was rather obnoxious how we were rushed through our meal, with plates whisked away almost before we had a chance to finish. Our server even turned on the bright lights at 10:10 pm to signal that it was time to go. Sorry but I was not impressed by the customer service here. This was a first being treated this way. And customer service is a very important part of eating out.I understand that the staff want to go home, but if last call for food is 9:30 pm, guests should be allowed at least one hour to eat their meal without feeling rushed out the door.

I had the pan seared ahi tuna salad. So freaking good! I will definitely order it again. We opted to sit outside which was very pleasant. On Saturdays, there are no cars in the parking lot next door which makes for a better experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The French dip bread was a bit hard but other than that, no complaints.

Our server was great, very friendly, attentive and took care of our table of 6 with ease during the busy lunch time sitting. I have a habit of trying beef dip sandwiches at every new restaurant I visit and this was unfortunately hands down the worst I have ever had, I struggled to bite through the meat and it was the toughest cut of meat , reminded me of my grandma cooking a roast for 8 hours, it was a struggle to eat even a few bites, however the fries were great and because I was guest of a customer I chose to not mention quality. Next visit possibly I will try a different menu option.

When its Happy Hour, Browns is the place to be.We weren't in a main mood, but a snack, so I knew the place to go to was Browns. We took advantage of their Happy Hour deal where some of their signature apps are on special. If there's one thing that Browns absolutely knocks out of the park its these.Their fries are god tier, forged by the potato god's of Halifax. Their fries are easily the best, you won't get better fries anywhere. While their wings are literally just fried with no breading, these are really the only constructive feedback I can give Browns, they are flavorful but lack that "oomf"The sesame ginger gyoza were a perfect balance of flavour, asides from the fries, these were the best app on the social hour, I highky recommend them. Now, for the building.Browns is super accessible with street parking or side streets, inside there are tons of seats and the bathroom is good quality.Service was top notch and really on the ball, servers were super attentive and checked in frequently.Only gripe is only sports on TV, it would be cool to get some games like Twitch on for esport events!

Went here for brunch with a couple friends and got the breakfast hash bowl. It was great, potatoes were a good size and crispy, the flavours were nice and sharp and the portion was good. It was a bit vinegary/acidic, which was I didn't notice for most of it but at the end of the meal it became a little overwhelming. It definitely has that quality chain restaurant taste, I don’t know how to describe that but it’s not a bad thing. It’s a great place to go if you need a good meal and want variety/options for a group of people with different tastes. I’d say everything like $2 more than I’d expect but obviously that’s not the biggest deal, it’s the price you pay for the chain aspect of having options and knowing the quality you’ll get. Service was ok, it was Saturday morning when everyone is tired and we got our drink refills fine which is all I care about. Everyone else felt their food was good too and settled around 4 stars for their meals as well.

So after my entire family got our booster shots together we thought lunch would be nice. The vaccine Centre accepted all four of our ID’s from our phone as well as every other restaurant (including browns) we’ve been to over the past year. I was in complete shock when the manager at only this browns wanted physical ID. So after some digging we found our ID’s except for one of us and we were denied entry. I’ve been to bigger better more famous restaurants than this wanna-be social house and never had any problems. A place with this little common sense and humanity is not worth going to. And for a fair review from past experience: it’s not that great, just the only place like it on the block, and it’s missing some serious spirit, and the little closet washrooms are a joke and gross.

Good place to enjoy with friends!?Calamari was crispy and delicious. I like the deep fried jalapeños with calamari. Chicken lettuce wrap was not really impressive. I tried Cactus club one and that one was much much better.. both taste and portion. But still not too bad. Alfredo fettuccine was okay, but maybe if it was more creamy, it would be better. Fish taco was the best among what we ordered. Toppings were all fresh and the portion was great. Deep fried fish stick was super crispy and there was no bad smell. And it came with French fries. (* we ordered an extra fish taco for friends. That is why ours is 3 tacos). Next time I will try happy hour ! No wonder Browns Socialhouse is everywhere?

Went for late night happy hour. Hostess and Server were friendly. It was not very busy. Food came out fast and was tasty. Would definitely go again.

Friendly service. Good food that came out fast. There were plexi glass partitions between tables which provided extra protection for server and guests.

Curtis was the best server!
