Perhaps it was a "can go wrong" night, but our last experience was little more than a string of failures. It was supposed to be a special birthday dinner at a restaurant that positions itself as an upscale pizza establishment. It was not a busy night, but we waited 25 minutes for a waitress. Then we waited even longer for the food. Two of the pizzas were not what we ordered, one so off target that it had to be remade, which meant that one of our party ate alone well after everyone else was finished. The bar drink was missing an essential ingredient, which appeared much later, rather inexplicably ladled into a small ramekin. We heard "Sorry" so many times from the staff that by the time we left we were just numb. There was no offer to comp any of the errors. Management must have been having their dinner somewhere else that night. Next time, so will we.
I love the food here, but most times the music is turned up way too loud. Worse, lately there's often Middle Eastern music blasting from the kitchen too, so I have to listen to two types of music simultaneously and they're both awful. By the time I leave I have a headache.
Where is the owner of this place?.. everytime I come here the experience is getting worse and worse. From ice cold ribs twice to hip hop / trap music playing over the restaurant speakers and this is full explicit version so Fword here N word there B word, and me telling my 5 year old don't worry it's just music and hoping my 2 year old doesn't pick it up. It's like no one that works there cares. If the owner does in fact read this I hope you make changes before it's to late because the family atmosphere is gone and we won't be going back unless things change. I understand I am only one person but I thought you should know what's going on in your business.
We had a large group. Always hard with one server, but he did as good a job as he could. Unfortunately the food was cold upon arrival, but they did re-heat it as requested. Anytime a group of 28 people come in, I would expect they would book extra staff to assist.
My bf and me love Boston pizza because the food is great and the staff are always very friendly. This time we went for dinner and I ordered the new carnitas pizza (which I also asked them to add jalapeno on it).First I ordered a side of yam fries (which I love from this place) and it was a huge one with some lettuce and this chipotle mayo dressing which is extremely good and fresh.I love pizzas from Boston pizza because the crust is amazingly crunchy, there's not too much sauce, it is tasty and whatever cheese they add is so fresh. Now with the carnitas added to the pizza I didn't feel it like a weird thing, just something similar to pulled pork which was not too salty and, with the jalapeno flavour, it added this fusion of the pizza + the carnitas. I enjoyed my meal very much.My bf had a side of fries and I also tried them, they were very good and crunchy. His meal was a fettuccine jambalaya, he gets this meal most of the time because he enjoys the flavour very much and it comes with shrimp, chicken and sausages. This plate is huge and my bf can never end it because of how big it is, he always needs to ask for a container so we can take it home.Like I said, we go to this place very often but it's a good choice if you want to hang out with your friends or even go for the first time with your family, a first date or something similar.
It's a good place to stop by and have a drink and light food !
Got told two of the things we wanted to order weren’t available, then had almost an hour wait time for a small pizza and a sandwich and side. Could have bought a better quality freezer pizza than what was served… and the sandwich was sad and bland. Didn’t even bother taking anything uneaten home, our server was nice enough, felt bad for the poor girl. If she sees this, girl get out of there and work somewhere else where you’re valued.
This is the worst BP location ever. I go to BP often for a fishbowl and to chill out. This location has no concept of customer service whatsoever. First time I came here , I waited 15 mins for a hostess to seat me which no one came. I ended up seating myself which after another 20 or so minutes I finally get a waiter to come take my order and that was only after I waved her down and said can you please take my order I’ve been waiting 20 mins while you keep looking over at me not bothering to come say hi and see if I need anything. Everytime I come, it’s the same thing. Why even bother having hostesses if they don’t even do their job? Then to wait forever just to be acknowledged. The fishbowls and food aren’t good here even compared to other locations. Good to see I’m not the only one who feels negatively about this one, seems to be an ongoing problem. I’ll be sticking with Station square from now on, at least they acknowledge me there lmao.
I just ordered desserts from this Boston Pizza, through Skip the Dishes, and I literally found mold in the cheesecake I ordered. I spoke to a person from Skip the Dishes, in a message chat, and they said they could only refund the cheesecake. This is very disappointing seeing I was actually eating mold before I noticed. I would recommend you do not visit this restaurant, unless if you enjoy eating mold.
Came for a late night pizza. Got seated promptly, then the waitress took a very long time to come and take our order. First thing she said after giving us the menus was "we are short staffed, so the kitchen is only making pizzas or wings". Normally, it would come with an apology for inconvenience or something customer service-like, but it was more a statement of fact. Didn't ruin the night or anything, but it gave a bit of unease. Due to lack of servers, it all business was consolidated right by the bar. So with about 30 people in one area, it was really loud and hard to have a conversation without almost yelling. We got the cutlery and plates - one of the plates was soaking wet and obviously wasn't dried. Server was mingling with a lot with the larger tables. Not taking orders or anything, just mingling. We had to go up to her to ask if we could get service and when she came, she said "What's wrong?". We pointed out the plate and she left. No apology and didn't even take the plate. When she came back with a new plate, she just dropped it on the table and left without a word. Like, literally dropped it so much so that the plate made a clang. My girlfriend and I looked at each thinking "what the hell was that?". Pizza arrived and the cut was almost hilarious. You had some slices cut for an ant and another cut for a gorilla. We were there almost 2 hours and the server came to check on us once. After all that, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
