I love this place, they do AMAZING coffee which they roast themselves.However I also frequent the BTC ATM on site, and it's truly a gamble if the café is open or not.Phone # on Google doesn't work, their wifi doesn't work last time I was there, the Bitcoin ATM kept going offline (partially due to the café wifi deficiency). I was able to Sell eventually but this took nearly and hour and several phone calls to the operator.I think I'd be wayyyy less frustrated if either 1) they had set hours, or 2) I can simply call to see if they are open, before getting up early, skipping coffee and breakfast, to come there "early" (I work afternoon shifts), with nearly 2 hours to spare before I head to work.Now I have less sleep, no coffee, café is not open, phone # doesn't work, and I cannot use their BTC ATM which honestly I desperately needed (my old car finally died last night). Now I am grumpy and writing mixed reviews :PIF THEY HAPPEN TO BE OPEN, it's an amazing spot for coffee and a snack. 10/10 would recommend.

If you are looking for a place with a friendly home town atmosphere and fantastic coffee Thirsty spirit should definitely be your go to! The owner is friendly and her freshly made Nanaimo bars are the best in town. If you get a chance to have her loaded baked potato soup too it's to die for <3
Great food and even better Company, I love all the options, especially the variety you can find in its Nanaimo bars. The thirsty spirit experience is not one to miss :)
