I've lived in south wellington for 5 years, and never gave this place a chance. I ordered there tonight, and I wish I did it sooner. The food was top notch, and friendly service. There's no doubt I will be going back.

Good chicken fried rice, good garlic pork. The sweet and sour chicken was not great. Coating too thick, sauce a but too much vinegar. Still are it, just not as good as the other dishes.
I worked here in the kitchen once when I was in high school. I vividly remember getting food poisoning twice, and discovering maggots in the shrimp only to be told by my boss to "just rinse them". Don't eat here.
Ordered a few items and was mostly happy. The sweet and sour soup is an absolute joke though was really craving a good soup and was hit with immediate disappointment, no flavour at all. Would order other food again though
Great food here. Not sure why some of the negative reviews. I was there on a good day I guess, easily the best in Nanaimo so far.
Don't listen to any negative reviewsFirst time ordering and I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants and diners and even made my own Chinese food.....and honestly I loved it....If they can make a hot sour soup as good as this....Well they can make anything!!!!!!
Ordered take out twice here now. Both times everything was fresh, hot, delicious and met or exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, Sun's Noodle bar is the best Chinese take out option in Nanaimo.
