**This is new - I don't like the idea of a tipping option when paying with a debit card, even though I tab past it. Tipping was initially for dine-in restaurants, (where you tip according to service) now almost everywhere you go, there's a tip jar or tip option. Geesh, no one tips me for doing what I get paid for.The lady looked for the tip on receipt and when she didn't see one, she wouldn't even say goodbye or acknowledge that I said have a nice day.My rant is over... sorry, but I don't believe you should feel uncomfortable bypassing the tip option. Everything is so high - gas, housing, food, rent. Everything is going up, but not my wages ? so, don't be snarly when you don't get a tip.

The lady who served me had no manners at all, and she over cooked my sub when I asked for lightly toasted. The sandwich was basically rock hard, and fell apart as you touched it. She didn’t even say thank you and she had an attitude then proceeded to SQUISH my cup when I asked for a fountain drink. 10/10 made me question if I ever wanna go there again.

Today, the power in our area went out for multiple hours and this Subway welcomed us with open hands. Although the lines got long, the employees did not struggle at all in providing quality service! 5/5 Stars, I Will be returning for their Fast Service and Friendly Staff!

Daily Customer of this Establishment and I must say that this is one of the best subways I have went to. The staff is super friendly and always surpasses my expectations with my sandwiches! Love this place and can will be continuing to go here until I move out!

Never a smile when I come in here. Staff are always pushy and rude, don’t listen to what you would like on your sandwich. I have had to get countless subs remade because they put the wrong things on or they just pick it off. Costumer service is horrific at best !!!! Don’t waste your time here go to one of the other subways in Nanaimo!!

Regular customer here. Staff is friendly, service is great. Simi has my orders all memorized. All I have to do is tell whoever is serving me what type of sub I want and Simi will coach them thru the rest. Can't say enough good about the service here

I've had to tell them 3 times now that the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich used the real chicken and not the chunks. They continue to cheap out and use the wrong chicken in an attempt to cut corners and save money. I walked out last time without ordering and decided to give them another shot. No more. I eat lunch there often (Multiple times a week) and will no longer eat there and will tell everyone not to go there either. If they cut corners on something so simple, where else do the cut corners??

The ladies were great and were as fast as they could be. Very good service!!

Since the new franchise owner took over, the service has gone up 1000%. I'm greeted with a friendly "hello, I'll be right with you" when I come through the door. My sandwich is made just the way I like it. I frequent this subway, so it helps they know exactly what I want. I can only imagine how tough it is to retain staff. The franchise owner is on the right track.

The two employees who are usually working together when I go in there are always absolutely miserable and put zero effort into their customer service. The way they throw sandwich’s together is unacceptable and I’ve never experienced this at any other establishment. Whoever owns this subway needs to hire two new employees.
