Amazing coffee & best nanaimo bar! Very friendly service and comfortable place to enjoy the coffee. Ordered a latte, and it came with beautiful heart shape Latte art!!!
Nice friendly staff. Tables well spaced. Could sit in or outside. Thought the coffee was very good and tried a Nanaimo bar - far too sweet for me. And I was told they can be sweeter ! Good place to sit and relax and unwind.

Just ok, pretty expensive. 9 bucks for a small sausage roll that was mostly pastry and a regular Cafe Misto (perk coffee with some frothy milk). Gave us a to go mug when we were wanting to stay in with a real cup.
If you like your nanaimo bars with attention paid to each layer and not too sweet - this is the one. The chocolate was well above par, the custard softer than usual in a good way, and the base, on point. This might be the best nanaimo bar (in my opinion) in Nanaimo - and I should say, I usually loathe Nanaimo bars. There were three or four good bars in town that stood out and this possibly came out on top. Would definitely visit again for this reason alone.

Staff are always soooo kind!!! I went in today and Marred (farhad? I didn’t quite get their name) was super helpful and totally made my day a little bit brighter. I wish all staff at all shops were as nice as them!
This is a very cute place that serves great coffee and some delicious snacks. Friendly and the macaroons are quite decadent.
Ok total Canadian thing.... but if you love an amazing Nanaimo bar OR if you have no idea what I am talking about, Serious Coffee is the place to go!!Yes they have won awards for their NANAIMO BAS AND RIGHTLY SO!! These delectable treats have a layer of chocolatey, coconut, walnut, graham cracker magical base, with a sweet creamy middle layer of yellow custard topped with a layer of chocolate. The key to these beauties is the ratio of each layer which Serious Coffee takes serious! They hold their form with every bite, and the custard is never grainy ( important detail) and the crumbly base layer never crumbles apart(another important detail)I've filled my face with MANY Nanaimo bars over the years and I mean MANY! In fact I actual will seek them out to find the best ones because nothing is worse than eating one that doesn't live up to expectations.So when we came across these it was like I had won the lottery!! They are pretty close to perfect IMO and if you love these like I do or have never had one Serious Coffee is the place to go!!Not sure about their coffee or other treats because I go there for the Nanaimo bars and have never had anything else!It's a good thing I don't live in Nanaimo, cause knowing how good they are I would be eating them everyday.It's a stop I make no matter what when ever I am on the Island!The BEST Nanaimo bars by far! And they have the hardware to back it up. Worth the price .....you won't regret it.
