Good, but two orders were wrong and two servers tried to convince me it was right. Was here for a Birthday lunch. The beef dip was really good. Had some kids meals at the table (one was wrong and quickly rectified). My order was brought out, it was also wrong. I tried to explain it wasn't right (I ordered the spicy chicken burger but I got the non-spicy version). I spoke with two servers to explain and both said, "it's a dry spice". To which I said, it's not spicy at all but there was no offer to change it out. I was offered more spice seasoning, I accepted but it wasn't quite right. I asked for hot sauce and continued to eat the food. I will say the food was good, just not what I ordered.
Been coming here for many years now. Definitely the best staff in town working here. Foods great and always willing to accommodate anything you need! Rock on team ??
My server went out of her way to make sure nothing I ate contained eggs. Manger was happy to hear that her staff was going above and beyond. Was definitely nice to feel welcomed with my severe allergies
Wing deal has doubled (49 Cents to $1). You only get 8 wings per pound regardless of size. They are mediocre at best which was fine at 49 cents per. Land lubber will be my go to spot now that everyone in Nanaimo has the same prices. We will not be returning!
Very disappointed. The food on the menu read well but the brussel sprouts were so overdone they were bitter. The Kona burger was not seasoned and had far too much overly sweet teriyaki sauce poured on it that you couldn't even taste the pineapple. The fries and caesar salad were fine. Won't get food from there again.
The waitresses were all very polite, attentive and knew what they were doing! My food was quite good as well! Will be going back again sometime!
Service was good and our meals were decent. I had a steak which was a bit tough and bland but my family did enjoy their burgers and fish tacos so overall is ok.
First time I have been there.Was kind of disappointed as my poutine gravy was medium hot and my fries were warm ,both soon went cold.The dessert was greatNot a good deal.Was too dark for me to read the menu.
I decided to try the Original Burger, with Fries and Coleslaw as my choice of sides. The Burger was very moist and flavourful. The Bun was lightly toasted, which is how it should be. I found the Burger to be very tasty. The Fries and Coleslaw were pretty basic and just ok. Service was very good and personable. The prices were reasonable.
Excellent meals. We had the shrimps and a chicken wrap with side order of poutine. Great atmosphere too. And our server Maddy was informative and friendly.
