Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. My wife has some food allergies and the Waitress was very accommodating and made suggestions on what would be good alternatives to her.
My wife and her friends as well as myself and my friends have been regulars here for some time. We have recommended your Happy Hour to all of our other friends and acquaintences. Everyone kept coming back not only for Happy Hour. The last time we came, the parking mid afternoon was mostly empty. We were confused. When we sat down to order we discovere that the menu was drastically changed and only one beer was on tap at Happy Hour price. Gone were the wings and the food available was cheap. When we saw the menu we left disappointed. Now I know why the parking was empty. Bad decision to change the menu. You could have raised the prices somewhat and customers would have understood recognizing the times we are in. We and our friends and acquaintences won't be back. We are all very disappointed.

Our first time here, it won't be the last. The area and parking lot do not give you a hint at what you'll find inside. The pub is beautifully done, I couldn't stop admiring all the decor details. Old city meets modern amenities. The food was delicious and well prepared. Beef Dip and Fish and Chips. We ate everything! The prices are excellent and a great value. My Caesar cocktail was well made and I absolutely loved it. My husband's beer was cold and delicious. Our server, Keely, dropped by quickly to make sure the beer was good as it was not his 'usual'. Keely was amazing in understanding her clientele. She was attentive without being a bother. Her knowledge of the bar and area was well received. She looked after us from start to finish. She made sure we had a great experience. Kudos to her, job well done. Kudos to whoever hired her, you've picked a good one. We are looking forward to another visit and this place will be on our out of town company tour as it is very close to the waterfront. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Amazing sport/gastro pub just around the corner. If you enjoy watching sports and drinking wide selection of draft beers, this is for you. I was lucky to be here on Tuesday - Taco Tuesday! Nice tacos with only 2,5$ each. This will be my regular pub in the future in Nanaimo!
Great place to watch a game and have some beers. Food is great. Buffalo blue cheese wings are amazing! It turns into more of a nightclub on the weekend as it gets later and the vibe is perfect. I would definitely recommend.
Beautiful pub just a few blocks from the waterfront in downtown Nanaimo. I was staying at the Best Western, and this pub is within walking distance. Wonderfully restored inside.Great happy hour selection of food and beer.Food is tasty. Good beer selection and awesome wait staff.
Fish n Chips !!!🙂Got a smile.I told them i was use to eat Fish n Chips everywhere i seen sime to try.I am commercial Fisherman and High quality family oriented Fish market East Coast.Theses Fish and Chips are probably the BETTER ones i tried from Coast to coast of Canada.And the size worth it up. ☆☆☆☆☆
Needs more training for wait staff. When we arrived, a group was hanging out chatting at the bar. We would get the odd walk by or someone would glance. Right when we were about to leave someone came over to seat us. Service at our table wasn’t great either. Took 30 minutes to place a food order. Even when waving down our server she would walk past, even making eye contact. On a positive side, the food was good. But not sure if it’s enough to go back.
Asked for a medium Steak sandwich, was beyond well done. Lettuce in Caesar salad was unwashed, could actually taste the dirt.
