We've eaten fried chicken and KFC (Korean Fried Chicken, not that other thing) all over North America. This is the BEST of it all. The crispy fried thighs are stellar, as is the Gangsta Sandwich. The utter lack of greasiness in the chicken is borderline supernatural. How do they do it??? Yangnyeom sauce is much better balanced than the too-sweet syrupy concoction typical in the USA. The amount of kimchi and daikon given as side dishes are double or more what we've gotten in the USA. Service was exceptionally gracious and beer selection was solid. They nailed the whole thing - PERFECTION.
Came here with a friend while I was visiting and we're both really happy we did! The onion rings are amazing and the Gangsta sandwich was awesome! A little tricky to eat but so worth it! My friend lives in the area and he'll definitely be back - so will I next time I'm over!
First time experience. Was absolutely blown away by the Gangsta Sandwich. Chicken was perfect, best I've had in town. Try it with the potato wedges, which get top marks both for taste and presentation. Will be back again.

First time ever trying Korean fried chicken...all I have to say is WOW!! Super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside..super tasty and flavorful. We ordered the 1/2 chicken and the portion size was large. Service was awesome and quick. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area looking for a very great lunch or dinner.
The crispy and original chicken were both absolutely delicious!I am a chicken person and I love their chicken very much...Yum!Will soon order again with the addition of their other flavor.
Korean fried chicken has become a new favorite of mine. While on a family trip to Nanaimo I found this place with great reviews. They impressed me with some amazing food and I fell in love! The chicken was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The sauce was very flavourful, and I couldn't get enough of it. The chef should be proud, he is truly an artist! At the end of my meal I was so full but couldn't stop eating! The service was fantastic, will definitely be back next time I am in Nanaimo and you should try Nanada Chicken too. I would trade my second born child for more of their food (already traded my first born for a sandwich).
Great little place with big flavor. Prices aren't bad either. Order the gangsta you won't regret it.
The BEST, FRESH made to order fried chicken in town. Ordered the whole crispy chicken and was not disappointed. Super light, crispy, perfectly battered coating. However, the poor hostess was constantly running back and forth from the front to the kitchen in the back to confirm wait times for every takeout order (mine was 20 minutes, so call your order in ahead of time). She needs an intercom or an ordering/communications app to verify orders with the kitchen.
