We loved the Mandarin House. Out of all Chinese food restaurants I've eaten at this one has the freshest meal. The meat was exteremly tender and each dish had wonderful flavors. We most definitely plan on going back again.
WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. THE WORST BUSINESS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE . If I could give negative stars I would. This time the food was totally cold when we got it. This used to be my favourite place to get food. Now it seems to be sub par and the last time the delivery driver couldn’t get the debit machine to work. This time the delivery person didn’t even have the machine. They were lucky I had cash. Thanks
Good Food and Reasonable priced Chinese food.I had it from 3 to 4 times takeoutAlways very accommodating for really different request.Some dishes you should try is Seafood Soup,Ginger ChickenChicken Chow Mein.
Anytime I'm in Nanaimo, this restaurant is an essential stop. Their food is always pprepared and plated well, and the serving sizes are perfect. If you're a fan of BBQ pork I highly recommend trying theirs.
This has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for years, but alot changed in 5 years.The entire order was wrong!I asked and paid for sweet and sour sauce and they sent me sweet and sour pork, I asked for veggie chop suey got chicken etc etc.The ONLY part of my order that was correct was the 4 drinks we ordered.It's so disappointing.And no, they don't replace or send you new food it's a credit. Extremely useless at 730 pm when 6 people are hungry.
We made reservations for 4pm Christmas day. After driving in from out of town during a noteworthy snowstorm, we arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were too busy with delivery/takeout orders and 'didn'f have a cook' to make our food. Why take reservations if you can't/won't serve them?
Terrible food , pics are not the same in real food. i ordered online no cutlery , no napkin, hot and sour soup is color pink. I don't ordered again . very poor quality
Sweet & Sour sauce was watered down, onions were massive, ginger also massive and way more than there should ever be in a dish. What a disappointment

We just tried Mandarin House for first time in awhile and it was delicious. The food was fresh, plentiful and tasty. Fast friendly service. Loved it. We will be back for sure!
