Cute coffee shop right on the wharf. Had a coffee and a london fog. They had a special with lavender in the london fog which was excellent as recommended. We walked with our drinks at the harbour, just a nice way to relax.
Great service - great location. However the coffee tasted burnt. Coffee roasting definitely needs work.
Decent food, pretty good coffee, good location. But a profound lack of atmosphere for some reason. I've never been tempted to linger.

Best coffee in town.I have been patronizing Javawocky for years and still thoroughly enjoy going there. Te coffee is delicious, food is top quality and the staff are wonderful. One thing I really appreciate is they take the time to get to know you and to make you feel comfortable. Going there is always a treat.
The location of this coffee shop on the harbour is adorable. The homemade scones were amazing and the staff was very friendly. A great Nanaimo gem!
Fantastic service, delicious beverages and treats. I had a vanilla latte and too some Nanaimo bars to go. Would highly recommend!
When strolling at the harbour, you have to stop by and have coffee at Javawocky! And the pumpkin spiced latte - ooh la la!

I enjoyed having a coffee and snack here after visiting Newcastle Island. The tables all face in different directions, so no one is sitting directly behind you or to the side when you are seated. The drinks are good and there is an excellent choice.
