This is where I eat every single day.SUSHI SAMA goes the extra mile for their customers.I want to thank all the staff there for being top chefs in the Japanese cuisine in the local area.And very energetic polite servers that always put a smile on all the customers faces.
Best combos. My fave is the Sushi & Sashimi Dinner combo. You get 1 dynamite roll, 6 pc nigiri, 6 BIG pieces of sashimi, 5 pc tempura, miso soup AND sunomo salad! All for under $30!! It was so good I ordered it two nights in a row! ? #noregrets The sashimi was fresh and super yummy! Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.
The food is great and it's not expensive.
Best sushi place in MR. Food is fresh and delicious, staff is always upfront about wait times, always courteous and with a smile on their faces. I will forever be a loyal customer here!

Super disappointed with my experience here tonight. Called and placed an order. Had it read back to me to confirm and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Got there 28 minutes later an there was no order in the system for me. The best they could do was take it again and have me come back in another 30 minutes! No discount or other compensation or apology was offered (other than the 10% discount they always offer for paying cash). When my husband went back for the second time they didn’t acknowledge the situation at all. No apology, no discount for next time (not that there will be one now). We loved the pricing and food here. But the whole experience left us pretty disappointed.
This place is the best!I can order anything on the menu and it's always delicious. Also, you can't beat the service that makes you feel like family. Not only one of the best sushi places I have been to, but it's one of the best restaurants.Always a favorite!
Food, prices, service are all great. You're greeted warmly whether eating in or taking out and then you get to eat this sushi that is always fresh, larger portions than most places and the best prices in town... If you're reading this, coming from someone who eats there once a week, do it!
We were excited to try the restaurant after reading all of the great reviews and were were even more impressed then we expected. The staff were all very friendly, they have a great menu selection. The food came quickly. The salsa were fresh and delicious. The sushi rolls were big and amazing. The tempura was lightly bartered and hot. Everything was perfect. The only thing we were a little disappointed about was that the bathroom was dirty. We are looking forward to coming back again.
Had takeout here the other day. Was pleasantly surprised by their service and blown away by their ngiri. This will be my go to sushi spot in Maple Ridge.I called them to put in a takeout order after finding them on UberEats. Food was ready in 25 minutes. Much to my joyful surprise their prices are also better if you go through them instead of Uber! When I arrived to pick up my food I was greeted by several very kind staff, informed that my food had just been packed and was quickly on my way.When I got home I discovered that they had thrown a few extra ngiri in my order for free! I'm not one to complain about free eel! We had ordered Gyoza, French Kiss Rolls, California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls and Ngiri for two of us to share. It came to a very reasonable $40 and was more food than I had anticipated! Everything was done very well, full of flavor and color, and was a delight to eat. The thing that stood out the most to me however was the ngiri. Outside of being given a few extra pieces, it stood out as the most fresh ngiri I've had in memory.
