Came to this restaurant with high hopes seeing all the great reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not as good. It took about 20-30 minutes to receive our appetizer. And an hour for our main. Around the 45 minute mark we noticed other people were receiving complimentary bread.. asked the waitress and yes.. they had forgotten to serve us our bread. The waitress was very sweet and apologetic which we appreciated. I understood there was a large party which had been seated before us which made the service a lot slower but the experience was still awful.. especially because is was SO HOT in the restaurant with no AC.. by the time we got our food we weren't even hungry.. we just wanted to go home. I do want to emphasize that our waitress was going above and beyond to make up for the situation and even brought me a drink on the house. But I felt I needed to share my experience. We were there for close to 2 hours and only 10-15 minutes of that was spent eating.
Absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Full vegan menu with all the regular menu items done vegan! Love coming with my non-vegan friends and family members so they have the option for the regular dishes if they don't want vegan ones. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming (ps they love dogs and have a dog friendly patio too ?)
As parents with young children, we like to order restaurant food on Friday nights. I have to say, we really made a good discovery tonight! One of the best authentic Italian restaurants I’ve ever tried. They mastered the perfect home cooked style flavour and provided fresh good quality ingredients.
Hands down the best vegan food in Maple Ridge. This was our first time ordering from this location and were surprised at just how many amazing options it had to offer, we ended ordering the pierogi and wam bam thank you yam pizzas, cauliflower bites and spanakopita, all of which was mind bogglingly good. The staff was incredibly welcoming and considerate; they even fried our cauliflower bites when arrived to make sure they didn’t lose their crispiness, we didn’t dine in, but it seems very well decorated and staffed. Definitely will be coming back many times over!
Restaurant had no seafood gnocchi at 5:15pm so had to change my order to a pierogi pizza individual size. Waitress was extremely rude. 5:49 pizza just came out of oven. Worst pizza ever!!! Tasted awful and greasy and crust way too thick to be Italian!! Never going back!!
An absolutely extensive menu & vegan menu which all sounded delicious. Got the chicken Alfredo (you can get all pasta options swapped for gluten free) with vegan sauce as well as the pierogi pizza (all pizzas can also be gluten free). They both tasted fantastic and there was so much extra for seconds later. Our server Jen was also super attentive to our table and just a wonderful experience I can't recommend enough. Will for sure be back again to try the vegan (or non vegan) cheese cakes!
First and last time for Paliottis Westside.I do not know what was worse, the food, the service or the wait time.New York Steak… it wasn’t wasn’t. Asked for rare, arrived medium. Another’s steak asked for medium well. Came well done. First time ever, my wife received deep fried ravioli. She did not eat it.Service… Waitress brought the 4 glasses. Using one hand. Her fingers were inside the glasses. Leaving grease marks. Asked for more water. It did not arrive.Wait time…it was far too long. The place was full when we arrived. All but one table were either eating or getting ready to leave. From ordering to to meal arrival. We’ll over an hour.Would I go again? NeverWould I recommend? Never
I had a spicy gnocchi dish here today. It was pretty great, I really recommend it. In the past I’ve also had their pizzas and though I’m not vegan I tried their vegan calamari, that was really fantastic! In short I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve eaten here. I’m also told the vegan cheese cake is wonderful, but it’s so popular it’s usually sold out.
Awesome service. Best free bread I've ever had! Large portions and delicious food! Had a seafood pasta and there was plenty of shrimp and and scallops! God the chicken fingers and spaghetti for our toddler and she loved it. The owner was even there and answered a question for us, she seemed super friendly as well. We will definitely be back!
Finding tasty Gluten Free food is usually very had . Palliottis has done an amazing job. I ordered for the first time from them today but it was already 10 minute to closing so I wasn't really hoping that I would be able to order a food let alone have it delivered. I called and they said they are closing unfortunately but they were so kind that they called me back and said not only they will take the order but also have it delivered.Thank you guys .Best gluten free food with the best staff
