The food is horrible, wait times were super long, and the delivery driver is abusive to woman. And the owner has no idea what she is doing

This restaurant serves modified Chinese food. If you are looking for authentic Chinese restaurant, then this is not the right place for you. For example, I ordered Singing chicken pot, if it is authentic, they won’t fry chicken first and the broccoli shouldn’t be part of this dish. But for modified Chinese food, they are doing fine, the taste is okay. I hope they do have an option for authentic Chinese food.
Rude and disrespectful staff. Ordered food for delivery. Was missing 2 entrees on delivery but when I called to ask for a credit they blamed the driver and just hung up on me. No credit was issued. Food was also subpar and cold so not recommended!!!! Not the same since Philip left!!
Just kind of a meh Chinese place. Kinda what I would expect in Maple Ridge.Nice staff. Prompt service. Good portion size.I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I wouldn't decline eating here either.
Their style of chow mein is my favourite in Maple Ridge. Their fried rice and wonton soup is great as well!
We enjoy Ocean Village at least one to two times a month. Crispy noodles beef and vegetable with black bean sauce delicious! Vegetable dishes are cooked perfectly not overcooked as we find at other restaurants. We've had honey garlic boneless pork, very good along with their almond chicken .. overall great. I would love to try seafood but other family members don't like it . 4/5*****
Was referred to me by a friend. I am usually hesitate to take referrals as I am a foody an my friends don't seem to have the same taste as me. But Mission does not have good Chinese food anymore so I was desperate. I'm pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent and will refer Ocean Village to my friends & neighbors.
I ordered the Dinner For 2 Special from here, and when I got home I noticed that my deep fried prawns still had prawn poo inside and were not deveined, I can understand that if the restaurant was busy they may have not had time to devein them, but you could tell it was a slower night for the place. I've read that it won't affect me in anyway, health wise, but I will not be able to eat prawns after this experience. I called the restaurant and did my best to explain to them that it was one of the most unappetizing things that I have seen and the lady on the phone offered to make me news ones - I then asked if it's ok that I get a credit to cover the price of the prawns and asked for some type of proof for my credit, I politely asked for some type of voucher or piece of paper, but refused and started to raise her voice at me. Long story short, I went back to the restaurant and she wrote me up a $5 gift voucher, and basically threw it at me, she also made some type of noise when I was leaving. I will not be going back to this restaurant.I have included pictures of the prawn poo, as well as the veins still being inside the prawn.
