Usually very good, tonight not so much. Ordered dinner for 1. Pork fried rice, delicious, but way to much. Chicken Chow main, delicious, not enough. Sweet & Sour pork, basically breaded meat, no Sweet & sour sauce, disappointing!!!?
Was not very impressed at all, ordered like enough for a 3 person dinner and of course there was more than enough but the quality left a lot to be desired.Almond chicken was anything but...Chicken fried rice was like old or somethingBoneless deep fried pork was unbelievably greasy.I was very disappointed because they used to be an okay place to eat...
The breaded chicken was terrible to much batter the kings style rice was terrible it was freezing cold like ice. It was strange for a place that's been around as long as this one you think they would have figured out. How to make rice by now. I ordered the dinner for five and a special egg Foo young which was really good. I spent over a $100 on this meal and was so disappointed if you haven't figured it out yet. Then you should at the very least make it right I never complained to the restaurant. I wasn't going back out in the rain all the way back to the restaurant so they weren't given the chance to correct it. So I guess basically let's see if this is corrected $100 is alot when two of the meals weren't any good. So I got a dinner for four which didnt feed 6 people maddening.
I love this place! The food is always good! The price is reasonable! If I feel like having Chinese food this is my favorite place to go!! Friendly people great cook!! Thank you kindly for all you do!! Have a great day!!
Never order their hot and sour (H&S) soup. Ketchup was used instead of vinegar. It's pretty bad from all the H&S that I have tried over the years.
Recently we ordered dinner from Kings Kitchen including an order of prawns. I swear those are some of the best breaded prawns I’ve ever had. I think they’re using a new coating now, maybe breadcrumbs, because they were so big and crispy! The rest of our order was good as well, but those prawns were fantastic!
I forgot how good the quality and $$ value was at Kings. We ordered last night. So tasty and fresh!!
Soggy almond chicken, bland chicken chowmein, dry boneless pork was soggy, egg rolls were gross and also soggy. I much prefer Silver House in Maple Ridge.
