I dont usually do this at all cause i know the restaurant industry is a busy and sometimes chaotic place, i went to hamada sushi with someone who talked highly of it, said it had amazing food, when we ordered food we ordered an appetizer, and 2 main courses, we got our main courses before our appetizer (it came at the very end) and it was a small dish and yet our main food came first, and our food we ordered wasnt what we asked for, at that point i didnt even want to bring anything up because no one was doing anything right, i asked to get it remade and put in a to go box and it was given in another bowl( no issue there) but then took another 20 minutes to get us a bill and box, was t even hungry anymore i was just beyond frustrated paying 60$ for the worst service ive ever had. Great people, just not on the ball.
I haven't been there in 3 yrs. I used to love it but last time I ordered the chicken dinner, ( normally I order the assorted sushi) and I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting. I told Gia ( server) please take off the bill and get something else for me. She said " well you shouldn't have ordered it! Why did you order it when you always get sushi?) So she wouldn't exchange or take it off my bill! I still had to pay for it and leave without anything to eat... It was the rudest experience I've ever had in a restaurant- and I was very loyal customer for years before that day.Yes it was a Gia, I may have spelling wrong but she was there 3 yrs ago definitely. No mistake. She was the one that served me regularly and I was there at least few times a week for few years... I brought everyone there!
Food was Ok. I didn't like that I had to tell the lady adding prawns to a dish that she should wear gloves when handling food. She was answering the phone and bagging orders. No food Safe!Also I didn't like to wait after I was told time to be there for pickup. It wasn't ready.
Very pricey, yet the quality of the food is way below average. They also do not provide any extra condiments no matter how many times you ask.
A little on the pricey side considering what you are getting. Had to ask them for soy sauce. Smallish portions, cold edamame beans, chicken tasted a little off -- not a great dining experience.
Nice restaurant, and quite expensive ...The food was very nicely presented but a little on bland side , the rice was cold like it was refrigerated .....I could get same food and just as good for half the price ....all good though different experience......?..
Great service. Awesome food. Dine in....previous to Vaccine Passports, not sure if they are pro choice at this time.
Lovely restaurant, some items of its menu are very good. must try the soba noodle (buckwheat cold noodle) if you enjoy cold food. Plus sashimi and nigiri are excellent, as good as you can get in Maple Ridge.
Delicious food. My favorite, nigiri. ? This is my go to sushi restaurant. Try the ebi sunomono, you won't be disappointed!
Ordered sashimi, salad and soup. All delicious. Great service. Cute atmosphere. I’ll eat here again!
