This might be the best fried chicken I've had in a long time! Excellent service, exceptional delivery time, hot and well cooked, simply excellent! I highly recommend this place...I have added it to my list of favorite fast food restaurants.
I loved everything they had there. Their chicken was so well seasoned, it had so much flavor to it! You even have the option to get spicy or non spicy chicken. Their popcorn shrimp is super season and SUPER delicious. I recommend getting that!! Also, their apple pies are AMAZING. Everything at brownies is so flavorful and enjoyable. I really love brownies! You should try it!
Ordered the lunch special (two pieces of chicken, gravy, and fries) and it cost less than $10. The chicken was delicious, and the mountain for fries were nice and crispy. I had never been here before and just came with a friend that recommended it. Needless to say I will be back again.
Got jalapeno poppers, and they mix of Cajun and original chicken. The outside was crispy, and the inside was nice and juicy! Hands down the best chicken and Maple Ridge. Original with seasoned exactly how you'd expect, that home style flavor. I found the Cajun season a little bit light, but added a extra delicious taste. I will definitely get food from them again, The service was excellent, and fast! And most importantly the food was great.
Great stuff here and great deals. Our go-to place for fried chicken (haven't tried the fish or the popcorn shrimp, so can't comment on those).Fondly refered to as "Bear Chicken" by our daughter because we go here so much (she can't read yet so all she knows is they have a bear logo and serves delicious chicken).
Can only speak to the chicken but I can speak highly. We got a 20 piece for a gathering along with some fries gravy coleslaw and “popcorn chicken”. The chicken was nice and crisp with good seasoning and juicy meat. Maybe a tad salty but it was not overbearing. The fries may be an acquired taste, bigger plumper ones rather than the skinny ones at a certain southern colonel. Leftover fries? Pop them on a sheet pan in the oven at 425 until crispy, almost better than fresh. The coleslaw has more substance than the green paste other places serve. Overall a really good meal, they deserve the reputation.
There was a bit of a wait, but this is understandable for rather sought after food. There are many options to choose from. Everything so far has appeared to be of proper quality to me. The service was great. They forgot to give me a medium fries. I called back and Romy gladly offered me a large fries for the inconvenience. Hands down the best tasting fried chicken around. Well, I'd give this a tie with Popeye's Chicken. I'm not sure if this Brownies is affiliated with the Brownies from 30 years ago. I would guess so. Anyhow, I recommend you give this place a try. I am glad I have this close to home.
I'm a fan of how much fries you get along with the chicken. I enjoy the chicken every time but there are other good chicken joints around now.I'm not sure why people go to mcdonalds when Brownies is so close by.I don't recommend the chicken burger the cheese just makes everything taste weird.
Really fresh and made to order. Amazing fries and fried chicken without the grease. Also the crab burger is amazing. A new favorite spot.
