My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a sunny Sunday (holiday weekend). The restaurant was quite busy but the front end staff welcomed and seated people politely and promptly.Our server was Brittany along with Emily (trainee). Service was superb. Friendly and quick. I had the Bacon Cheddar Burger ($19.99, see photo). This was one of the best burger experiences I have had at this White Spot. Burger was cooked perfectly, fresh bun, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Plenty of fries and coleslaw. An excellent and delicious lunch.
Caleb was a fantastic server, as was the young lady who seated us.We haven’t had this good of service since the beginning of the pandemic.We’ve went to many different restaurants since, and none of the servers came close to Caleb. His attention to detail was great. He knew when to bring refills, stopped by many times to make sure everything was perfect.We will be back
My girlfriend and I normally love Whitespot. It’s always been our go to. However, the dinner service we experienced on our April 9 visit at this location was just bad. We were there from 6:45PM to 9:00PM and the waitress stopped at our table a total of 3 times. The first time was to take drink orders and the last was to get the cheque. Our empty drink glasses sat on the table for 30+ minutes and not once did someone stop and ask for a refill. Attached is a photo of said glasses with the relatively quiet restaurant in the background. We try to be patient in general and understand that it can get busy, but when we, as well as tables around us, have to start getting up and walking to the bar to ask for a drink, napkins, or the bill, it’s not good. Waiters and waitresses walked past us several times and avoided making any eye contact. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because the food was decent. Anyways, won’t be coming back to this location.
I visited a couple weeks ago and I really wish I remembered my server's name. She was such a lovely human, very friendly and bubbly, she didn't even care that she had to come around a couple times before I could decide on what to order.I got the chicken Caesar wrap, I know they're supposed to be the same at all locations but this one really was the best. The sweet potato fries were piping hot and it was fantastic.I'll be back!
12:30 Friday 2022No lineup, restaurant half full. Waitress was attentive with a smile. Food was hot and delicious. Menu price per person is $20 a plate. Establishment is older, but very clean. Bathroom was 8/10. Very little parking close to the restaurant as one side is for park and eat service only. Parking at the mall is available. I recommend this location.
I was tired and just needed a quick meal and it was my cheat meal night so i wanted a burger. I ordered th Monty Mushroom burger, it is $18.99 plus GST. It arrived with a doughy bun, dry burger, 9 half pieces of small mushrooms (yes i counted them) fries that were reheated and covered in grease. I ate half of it, downed my $8.50 beer , left a tip and got outta there. $35 total what a waste. White Spot burgers used to be awesome, juicy and flavorful. They need to retrain their cooks obviously as nothing matters anymore. To say i am disappointed is an understatement, never again!!!!!!!
I hadn’t been to a White Spot in a very long time. The food was decent. The staff was friendly. I had the legendary burger. Loved the fries.
The food is always consistent. Great place for a comfort meal.Takeout however gets my orders a bit wrong almost everytime, minor things so not a big deal, cause the food overall usually still tastes good.
Not sure what to say but yesterday my date had eggs Benedict at this location and she still has an upset stomach....it may be nothing but I'm just seeing if anybody else had a similar situation, so at the very least let me know if you are feeling the same. Still both meals were presented well and the hospitality was first rate.
I wish I could say 5, but the new buns ruined it for me. The first time was on BC Ferries Whitespot, I saw the bun tasted sour and not a fresh taste and it turns out, it's because that is the new bun. Change to a healthy kaiser
