We stopped here on a whim after going to Best Buy. Wow! Wish I’d known this place existed sooner! The rolls have the most beautiful presentation and are just wonderful! My husband’s Udon was equally fantastic. I also noted a large table, Japanese style but with space for legs to dangle, was available for groups.
Amazing! The food was delicious, good portions for the price, and the waitress was wonderful! The stinky roll was phenomenal ? and I recommend it to anyone who likes scallops and lightly seared garlic. Everyone including my girls LOVED the food here. Will be back on our next trip down to the coast.
This place is a little gem in Langley! Plenty of food and it was delicious and the prices decent compared to other places around. Thumbs up to their staff too they're super nice and friendly. Definitely it's my new fav from now on.
I haven't been to many Japanese restaurant but this umami location is a solid choice. Not too busy and has great food, definitely recommend!
I had a business lunch during a conference. We had a nice table close to the window and the place was busy but quite enough for us to enjoy the food and the conversation. Food was exceptional and extremely well priced. I had the swordfish and my colleague the seared tuna. Everything was tasty, cooked to perfection and very well presented. All the good reviews are really deservedSwordfish
I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.
Food was good. Better places in Langley for sushi. Service not very friendly.
It's a fairly standard sushi place that has a good variety of menu. Nothing outstanding though, and the maki rolls of salmon that I ordered was rolled way too tiny, and not in a presentable way. The udon was hot and tasty.
The good- big portionsThe bad- expensive, bland taste on even the special rolls( lion dance and pillow roll) you won't be hungry when you leave but you won't come back for the flavors either
