I was greatly looking forward to this sushi location after seeing all the good reviews, but I was sadly let down... I ordered one of the lunch-boxes to-go, and I received a box of mush...Everything was damp and soggy (tempura/bean-sprouts/cabbage were all the consistency of wet paper/cardboard), brown/old avocado on the rolls. (The rolls tasted ok, but sadly were still lacking due to the mushy dampness and bad avocado..)Dine-in may be the better option?Beware of to-go orders, or check your order quality before you leave.
Amazing quality and value for the price. Great sashimi, it’s very fresh. The rolls are quality too. The combos come with a lot of food and we always have left overs.

such a hidden gem in midtown area. The sushi is very fresh and environment is cozy. We usually come here for happy hour after a long day of work. Sometime I will order their lunch special which has big portion in a reasonable price. Definitely recommend anyone who works in midtown when you want to have a good spot for drink and good Japanese food.
Everything was amazing 10 out of 10I forgot the name of my waiter but that's probably the biggest tip I ever gave not only because the food was amazing but they were just so delightfulthey took pictures for me it was my first time in Boston soMy family took me there while I was there I love seafood and I'm very particular about how I like things but oh my gosh everything was just perfectthey made great drink recommendation I just loved it and it was my first time having clam chowder it was deliciousFrom start to finish

Highly recommend Tokyo Hon Sushi. Ever since my bf and I have discovered this place, we are back almost once a week. The food always comes out fast, fresh & delicious. Also the waitress is very sweet & we enjoy eating here because of it!
Ordered take out on a Saturday afternoon. Food was ready quickly. Staff was friendly. Looks like a nice place.The rice was over cooked and lacked taste and texture, which made the rolls unpleasant. If I'd had the meal in the restaraunt I would've sent it back.The spicy tuna roll was bland. The tuna was finely chopped almost like it was ground, really mushy with the rice.Tempura was average.Really disappointing.
A very high food quality. Excellent tasting and very fresh sushi. Nice staff too.
