Neat little spot for sushi. Like their aburi and fusion sushi rolls which are unique. Rolls and sashimi is comparable to other sushi places. Prices are a little higher but every order I had tasted great! Friendly staff. Sometimes it is a long wait for items on a busy or slow day, hence the 4/5.
First, it was a really hot day when I went, so the dimmer lights and cold AC here was a huge relief. The staff were friendly and very quick, efficiently refilling our cups and keeping an eye out for anyone waving to get attention. Food was delicious, great both visually and in our mouths!
Amazing food. Incredible flavours.
Excellent!! From food to service!! The price you pay is well worth it for the quality. Finally, a place that serves a fancy sushi roll for someone who only eats vegetarian due to seafood allergy. Tropical mango, delicious ?
One of the worst Japanese food I've ever tasted. Ordered a Pork Tonkatsu set and it arrived super late (when others were almost done eating). It was so overcooked I could barely chew and swallow it. Bone dry like sand in my mouth. The deep fried exterior was rock hard. The salad was really bitter too. The service wasn't good either. Got overcharged for a small substitution. Won't be going back ever again.
Tempura was hot and crisp, most rolls were flavourful and tasted great. Got to my spicy salmon roll and couldn’t finish chewing the first piece. The salmon was thick, sinewy, and chewy. I’ve had salmon rolls from dozens of different sushi places as it’s my favourite roll, but I’ve never had one as unpalatable as this. Disappointed.
Paid for the order over $140, got no chopsticks, no soy sauce. $8.95 for 6pc of calamari, seriously?! Service went down the hill, disappointed.
Somewhat disappointing. The menu looks promising, but one doesn’t always seem to get what is being described. For example, the jalapeño appetizer said it came with spicy tuna, but it was actually a strange mash of fish eggs, possibly tuna, and some breeding. The portions are very small (especially the gomae), and the tempura used in the sushi roll was not fresh.Polite and acceptable, if a bit stand-offish service.Overall, I’d say it’s somewhere I’d only try again if in a fix for somewhere to go.
Good variety. Great food. Good service. A little on the pricey side. A must visit sushi place!
Great sushi, fresh, and tasty, good prices, good service just super busy! We tried the deep fried california, the snow roll, and the real crab california.
