Simon Sushi is one of those places that is unassuming but where the food is always perfect.Perfect cut, perfect temperature, perfect presentation and perfect consistency.Highly recommended.
One of my favourite spots in the willoughby/walnut grove area. The family that owns it are extremely friendly. My wife and I always feel extremely welcomed.The food itself is very good. It is also extremely affordable. I almost think their prices are too low!Just remember that they are closed from 2:30-4:30.

The front girl was super friendly and I felt very welcomed. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because I saw the person who made my sushi drop frozen scallops on the ground pick them up and put back in bowl he was gonna use to make food. Then did not change his gloves and touched my sushi!!! This is serious food safety issue!I ordered for pick up and I was waiting at the chairs next to the counter, and I saw everything with my own eyes. I wanted to say something about it at that time but I was just so frozen and frustrated… I wasn’t sure what to do about it… I should have ask them to re-make it.

Great food, but today was the 4th and last day that I will bring a group of hungry people here to find a closed "be back in 90min" sign on the door. Used to be regulars. Sayonara! we've found another regular sushi spot near by. Oh right it's totally normal for a restaurant to just close its doors for a 2 hour break at peak lunch times, I forgot.
I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are lovely. The food is delicious and fresh and I always find myself coming back for more. The best sushi in town! Highly recommend.
