Downtown Langley is a convenient place for me and my friends to gather for an occasional dinner out. We tried it once, never again. The only thing memorable about this place is how rude the server was.
The owner/manager at Shiraz is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever met. I suspect the good reviews on here have been paid for by the restaurant as I can't imagine how somebody could rank this place any higher than 1 or maybe 2.
The food was not good at all, despite what some people say on here. The server took forever to bring water and drinks, then had the gall to inform us that there is a time limit. Rudeness and arrogance permeates this place. From management on down they think they are the only restaurant in town. Not going back here. Ever.
My wife's a chef and it's hard to go out to eat where she isn't disappointed.Shiraz is Authentic middle eastern food that brings all the combinations and flavors to life. I believe they are from Shiraz Iran and you can taste the authenticity of their food and we are blessed that they share it with us. People drive long distances to come here because it's worth it.
Shiraz Grill is an outstanding Persian-Italian restaurant. Started with the deep fried calamari, the batter and squid was light, crisp, and enticing. We decided to focus on the Persian offerings on the menu for lunch. The meat they source is top notch, certified organic meat. The kebob plates were perfectly seasoned and grilled, and it goes well with the saffron rice. Would visit again to enjoy the rest of their menu. Each bite reels you in for seconds. The portioning is adequate and was comfortably full by the end.The service was exceptional. Both Waiter and management checked in on our table to assure if the food is okay. Water topped up consistently. I couldn't ask for a better service.I wish all restaurants would strive for this level of excellence.
I'm a pretty decent home cook, so when I dine out, I'm frequently disappointed by paying top dollar for something I could easily have done better myself. Especially pasta dishes. NOT at this place. The quality is top notch. Everyone at the table of 4 was very pleased with their meals, not the least of which was me and my Lamb Shank with Risotto. There is clearly a talented kitchen staff, and the front of house is equal to chefs.Try the Kalamari for a new spin on an old favorite. It will make all the others seem like food court fast food. The ambiance is just the way a fine dining place should be. The quality is reflected in the prices, but worth it, in this diner's opinion.
Very good vibes best halal food, everything is halal, great hospitality
The food was great. Best calamari and tzatziki I have had in a long time. The restaurant itself was conducive to a party of four that wanted to converse (no loud music in the background). It would have been nice to have been able to make a reservation. When I called they said they were booked solid but when we arrived at 6pm the restaurant was half empty and we had our choice of tables.
We picked five different kebabs up at the perfect timing after the order was called twenty minutes earlier. Enjoyed the kebabs along with the combo of rice and green salad much. Our appetite was so pleasant. Continue supporting that restaurant locally in the midst of pandemic protocol. Thank you very much.
Dropped by tonight for the firsttime while celebrating a friends birthday. Drove by saw it and very happy we made the choice to try it out. We shared 4 delicious appys a bottle of wine and a dessert. We will certainly go again...and happy to find out all their food is organic. I would definitely recommend it
