It's so exciting to have such an important historic figure run such an iconic franchise. While not seeing him personally, I can safely say my chicken was prepared by none other than Julius Caesar. This is because each chicken stip had enough salt in it to pay a roman legion for a year.Absolutely horrendous food. The chicken was drier than sunbaled sandpaper, and this constantly had me going back to my drink. To make matters worse, the chicken battwr wasn't really stuck on well, and kept falling off.Lastly, both my friend and I, who both ate here, had food poisoning the next day. If you want chicken, stick with KFC, this place is not worth the hype unless you like to punish your senses and your gut.
The best chicken sandwich if you ask me or my husband! The chicken is soooo juicy inside and soooooo crunchy on the outside. Absolutely delicious. The deluxe one is my go to whenever I crave chicken! Yum!
popeyes always a 5 star, always great friendly service and always great food. The brand is consistant in all locations . The spicy chicken is amazing (just dont put that big ole pickle on it)
The chicken sandwich looked really good so i wanted to order on doordash along with a chicken strip meal. Apparently the chicken sandwich was out of stock at the chicken restaurant so instead of just refunding me, they subbed it for fish and charged me more because obviously i would like to pay more for something i didn't want. Gross. Who subs chicken for fish, anyway?? The dipping sauces for my chicken strips were not included. My fries were loose in a brown paper bag which was placed upside down in the plastic bag. The fries were ok. The strips were ok but dry...Overall, as far as a first time Popeyes experience goes; I'm convinced i don't need to try it again. Disappoint.
Food is what is expected. I'm happy with my order. The staff selection is anything but white. Whatever that means.
Second time at this location, food is better this time but the service is still lacking. We waited a very long time for spicy chicken. The front end had to remind the cook at the back 3 times to start making the chicken. More cooks needed especially during peak dinner hours. We waited for almost 30 mins as groups of people behind us received their order. Will not be coming here if I’m hangry.
Food was good, second time here was much better than the first, unfortunately it seems they have a lot of staff but less than half know what they are doing. The girls putting the orders together are on point, the guys in the back making the chicken have no clue what's going on. They would rather stand around and chat than do their job
They have one of the best crispy spicy chicken sandwich in the Surrey-langley area. Chicken nuggets & wings are so juicy, tender and cannot stop. Popcorn shrimp became my new lover after trying half of the menu.
I don’t write a lot of reviews but felt that this location was deserving of one. Yesterday , the kids and I had been shopping in Langley and since it was getting close to dinner I thought I would treat us to dinner . It’s been quite some time since I’ve been happy with take out chicken places. In fact I would safely say it’s been at least 5 years. The Popeyes in Langley changed that . Probably one of the best experiences in years. We bought it in Langley and took it home to maple ridge to eat It was still very warm , the chicken was still crispy and full of flavour., the biscuits were soft and fluffy, the fries were nicely seasoned and coleslaw was some of the best for take out. It took maybe 10 minutes to have ready . The service was friendly , no mistakes and the price was most definitely a great value. 43.00 for a 12 pack with two sides and biscuits. I will most certainly go back. I wish that they would open a franchise in maple ridge. Maybe they could use the old KFC restaurant which shut down two months ago. Great job Popeyes.
Delicious and tasty puts kfc to shame…. Highly recommended and friendly atmosphere staf are brilliant and well knowledgeable.
