I had my worse restaurant experience, today with this restaurant!! It's so wierd for me how people gave a 5 star to this restaurant!!There is a very bad smell inside the restaurant and chicken tender that they brought for us was completely microwaved with very bad smell!! We returned that completely. Wasn't happy with this restaurant at all and will not recommend here to anyone!!!
Horrible. We used to love this place but haven't been there for 3 years or so. First red flag was a MOUSE I saw run from the dining area to the bathroom ?. But we still decided to stay since we were meeting someone, and then both my husband's and I's meals came and were microwaved and full of steam. It was completely inedible. My husband's lasagna was FLOODED with water and the waitresses response was "would you like us to drain it for you."... we will definitely not be coming back here. Very sad to see a favourite old place like this become so awful.
Spring summer patio lunch time and we decided to do italian. Pasta polo in langley has been our tried and tested go to Italian place. The appetizers were flavorful and as the name said, appetizing. The main courses were a bit of a hit and miss in terms of the spice levels, as in some weren't as hot as we expected,a tad bit hot sauce or pepper would have made it better. The service was excellent as usual. It's great to be outdoors and enjoy food.
Had an excellent meal here. Linguini with meatballs, and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was outstanding and the waitress who served me was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Yesterday a group of Senior's from Chilliwack went to Pasta Polo for lunch, we arrived early (before they were even open) but they very kindly let us in. Our server was not there yet, but when she (Simone) arrived, she was very efficient, bringing us water and coffee immediately and then taking our orders. Our food was served very quickly, and hot. The food was delicious. Simone was very attentive to our needs and was very friendly. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
Pretty bad. We ordered two pasta dishes and both had been microwaved for so long they were spewing steam for almost ten minutes. Too hot to be eaten. In that ten minutes our server never came to ask us how it was. So we were never given a chance to have it corrected. She came after thirty minutes,(I decided the food here was awful and could not be corrected) so I didn’t mention the terrible microwaved food and just asked for a refill of pop. She said sure and then never came back until she came with a bill and the machine already set to a tip prompt. This restaurant is awful. Awful food. Awful staff awful decor. awful experience.
I would give you a 0 but that’s not possible so I give you a 1.first when we walked in, the staff seemed nice no issues, we were the only ones in the restaurant (that should have been our first red flag) we were able to sit anywhere tho so that was nice. We got some waters then ordered an iced tea each. The worst iced tea i’ve had. No flavour to it, just brown water with a lemon on top, the only thing that gave it a hint of flavour was said lemon.we ordered the mozzarella sticks to start, and the chicken and mushroom alfredo and the Veggie lasagna. When our order was put in we immediately heard the sound of a microwave (2nd red flag). Within about 5 minutes my mozzarella sticks came out. Cheap, store bought mozzarella sticks that were made by an oven or something worse. The cheese wasn’t even melted, it was like bitting into a crispy cheese string. Also said on the menu it would come with marinara, only came with ranch. This was our 3rd red flag.we received our meals very quickly (4th red flag). The alfredo was literally so runny it was like water, the noodles were over cooked and the chicken tasted weird and rubbery. The mushrooms were also crunchy which was not enjoyable. The lasagna was no better. It came out and the “sauce” was bubbling like boiling water. The plate was so hot my spoon was sizzling against it. There was no creamy sauce like texture, it was boiled water. There was 0 taste, the noodles were either undercooked or overcooked, the only prominent vegetable was carrots and there way too many of them. Highly disappointed in our meals. We both did not finished our meals and went to mcdonald’s after which was much more appetizing.when asked if we wanted dessert we immediately said no, as we did not want to risk it and the dessert selections were odd.not at all worth the price.Again service and ambiance was good, the food is where they lack and is the cause for this review.
Such a great find, near the mall. Best Italian spot ever. Shout out to Maddie our server; she was so much fun and was very attentive. We started with an order of bruschetta. It was amazing! Maddie recommended the Chicken parm and Lasagna, both were delicious and very hardy portion. Looking forward to having the leftovers tomorrow. We ended our evening with an order of creme brûlée and a B52 coffee, a perfect ending to a wonderful evening. If you are in Langley BC,Pasta Polo will not disappoint. We will be back on our next visit.
Food was good, the service really needs a update. I never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. They need more training on confrontational situations besides separating tables and understand people have disabilities. No one should be told because they have sensitive hearing and has non epileptic seizures that they shouldn't go out. I had that happen to here when I had two non epileptic seizures ontop of that with my autism I naturally have sensitive hearing. Ontop of that they didn't talk to that family. Felt really insulted that it's okay to discriminate and get away with something that attacked not only me but my fiance also. The kid of the family was not monitored properly and had no mask goofing around touching everything and coughing. Made me wonder if that's even following covid protical. I HAD covid in the new year. I have asthma and a lower immune system. My fiance just got over covid a few days ago and out of isolation. We both are concerned and freaked out, the kid was hacking like we were when we had covid. We were uncomfortable knowingly that the staff let them in, considering coughing is a symptom of covid. Made me question why the family was here from the start since if you had any symptoms you where told to stay home. Use to love coming here but now I'm uncomfortable.
