Very small location, so call ahead and reserve a table if you're planning to dine in (they only have 3 tables). Well worth it though! The service was great, very friendly and helpful with menu choices, and the food was amazing! Pregnant mom with a craving for pasta and it was well satisfied with their bolognese ravioli ?? Definitely recommend giving them a try & will certainly be returning!

We ordered from Olivo Pasta through SkipTheDishes tonight and we were extremely disappointed with the quality of food. We ordered the spinach dip and two Build Your Own pasta dishes. My husband had fettuccine with double meat sauce and he added mushrooms, garlic and parmesan cheese. I had gluten-free penne with rose sauce, chorizo, all the offered vegetables and parmesan cheese. The spinach dip was a tasteless, stringy disaster. The tortillas chips were tasty enough but they definitely came out of a chip bag.My husband described his pasta dish as tasting like pasta that came out of a can. The sauce was unlikely made in the restaurant and more likely it came out of a can or jar. After tasting our pasta dishes we both tried to make them edible by adding our own fresh parmesan cheese and some ground pepper. My husband was only able to eat a few bits before asking me to toss it down the garbage disposal. My gluten-free pasta was already partially broken up when I opened the container. With so many gluten-free pasta brands available now there is no excuse to use a cheap product that is grainy and mushy. The most surprising aspect of my first taste of my pasta was to discover that it didn’t contain chorizo sausage but instead had what I think might have been farmer’s sausage (photos attached). The rose sauce was bland and the overall dish tasted bitter, greasy and had a distinct smoky flavour which I assume was from the sausage. I had expected a spicy, fresh and vibrant pasta dish. It was awful! My stomach is still rumbling and I have heartburn. With a grimace, I stuffed down half of my pasta before I joined my husband’s meal in the garbage disposal. We called the restaurant to provide feedback on our disappointing meal and we started by commenting that my meal didn’t have chorizo in it and we thought it tasted like farmer’s sausage. The restaurant employee said that it was just a milder chorizo than we might be use to because they find that people don’t like spicy food. She seemed disinterested and I got the feeling that she was quite accustomed to people complaining about their food. When we tried to continue with our feedback she stopped us and said again in a tone of, she couldn’t care less, ‘I guess you didn’t like it.’ I said that I planned on leaving a review and she said ‘go ahead’.I have read some of the past reviews as well as the responses from the restaurant management and it sounded like the restaurant cared what customers thought of their food. I really don’t think they do, so please find another restaurant to go to, or order from.I generally only take the time to review exceptional good or poor restaurants. This one stands out as exceptionally poor. I could never recommend this restaurant.

Not happy at all with my order for a second time now! First time I ordered the garlic bread, diablo pasta and chocolate cake. The pasta was so extremely bland, I had to add my own seasoning but the overall smokey flavour just leaves a bad taste in the mouth. The pasta is not appetizing at all! The garlic bread was just little pieces of bread drenched in olive oil. The first time I had the cake it was really good with raspberry sauce on it. However, the second time I ordered it, it was completely different cake. There was walnuts, caramel sauce and a different filling, which was not as good—not impressed with the inconsistency. I decided to give this restaurant a second chance but I would not recommend to anyone !

Everything was so yummy, and we loved the positive messages. I highly suggest the German chocolate cake when you stop by.

Great prices & decent portions, always tasty and love how it is so conveniently located on the one-way portion of Fraser Highway. Dine in, but take out is most popular with this restaurant. Love their pastas (make your own available too) and the desserts are so good (Strawberry Shortcake & their German Chocolate Cake are our favs). Excellent service, the staff is super friendly & if you get take out you'll always find a smiley face on your containers.

I ordered 2 pastas online from this place and both did not taste like anything. There was barely any cheese on it (didn’t look like any of the pictures from other reviews). I had to add some of my own salt and pepper and other seasonings to make it eatable and taste less bland. I am really disappointed honestly, they have great reviews but my experience was the opposite!

I order pasta from here all the time with Skip. It's amazing every time, I would highly recommend the Fettuccine Diablo, it's delicious ?

Husband & I thought we'd try something differentthan our usually go to. Unfortunately we will not begoing back. After being seated it took a bit for us toget water, waited even longer to order (keep in mindwe were the only ones dining in). My husband keptleaning over to try and get their attention but seemsthey were more focused on preparing the take outorders.Food was not great. I ordered the pesto creamlinguini and it had absolutely no flavour; just tastedlike a mouth full of pasta. The sauce lacked colour, the richness the basil aroma…everything you expecton a "pesto" dish. Had to ask the server forsalt…Noodles were also cooked a couple mins toolongThe garlic toast was not worth $3. For 3 slices ofciabatta toast with a sprinkle of parsley just showedlack of creativity and passion. Was nothing close toactually being garlic toast.

Ordered on Skip. Got the pesto cream linguini with shrimp and some add on chicken. I'm pretty sure there was either very little or no chicken in it. The shrimp where tiny and a bit overcooked, and in general given the ingredients listed white wine, pesto and cream sauce with parmesan it was very bland and unremarkable, which was surprising. It was under seasoned and had an odd aftertaste. Won't be ordering again.

Easily one of my favorite pasta places. I went in on Christmas eve and was very quickly helped. The service and food were very fast and tasted great! I will have to go back there soon
