The service was very friendly, the food was decent if a bit odd (the tortilla soup turned out to be a thick tomato bisque with no tortillas). The constant throbbing of the "music" was unpleasant but it's hard to get away from such these days. Apparently most people like that (??!!). We managed to get a table that wasn' directly under a loudspeaker. thankfully.
Anniversary
Greeted by a couple of young ladies offering appetizer and wine sampler - nice touch! Sat on the upstairs patio with 2 other friends / the patio is lovely. Nice atmosphere. Had the blackened shrimp tacos - 10 out of 10. Wine is ridiculously expensive. If you can go during Happy Hour itâs a better deal $ but overall I recommend.

After a long day of travel, it was nice to relax in a nice environment and have such lovely service and good food!
Had my 8 year anniversary dinner with my wife. Our server was great. Food quality was good with normal proportions. Located in the Sandman hotel complex. Easy to get to you with lots of parking. Ordered chicken fettuccine and tuna poke bowl Would go there again.
Recently visited this location staying at Sandman for business. First evening we went to take advantage of Appy hour. The sign did say Appy pricing starts FROM $5. Unfortunately most items were well above that and some choices were not even available with no substitutes when we asked. The service from the person who took our order was okay but it was definitely lacking for an Appy Hour. I would not recommend. Second evening we decided to give it a second chance. We ordered a Poutine for $9.99 which is about average pricing; however, it was definitely not a true poutine. Not only was it a small container but it was a barely filled container with a few pieces of shredded cheese thrown in (NOT curds) and overly salty. This was takeout so we did realize how disappointing it would be. We will not be going back as we live 2 ferries away.
We had trouble finding something appealing from the new menu. We werenât that hungry. Our server was terrific. Music was loud and thumping - had trouble hearing one another.
We were celebrating a family birthday and were not disappointed. The Lemon Salmon was done perfectly and the Beef & Mushroom Strips were also a 'hit'. Our service was also very good from start to finish. We'll be back!
