I rate 4 stars because this isn't meant to be critical of the taste, the taste is actually exactly what you expect from a place like this, tasty, but not amazing. Great value.My issue I think with this place is actually my experience ordering online, where I ordered teriyaki and szuchuan chicken, which is what the dishes were labelled as. It turns out however that the dishes are actually more vegetables and mushrooms, with very small amounts of chicken. I hate mushrooms, and so when I got it I was a little put off. That being said I now know better for next time, and will order the other chicken dishes in hopes they aren't some weird unintentional bait and switch.
Poor selection at Langley BC store. Had only about 6 or 7 choices in the display case. Noodles very average; Ginger beef mostly breading, little beef; Five spice pork not appealing flavour and too much breading. Server did not have enough ginger beef for a serving, so she offered me some additional chicken, then charged me for the substitution. Soft drink dispenser was inoperable. Not a good value...won't go back
First time to this place, always known they are famous with their soup dumpling. 2 minutes we sat down, waiter came to ask if we want to order the soup dumpling? we picked the crab pork to start. We should've ordered the pork soup dumpling, because it will come faster, we waited the crab pork one for over 15 minutes.Their soup dumpling is verrry good, not only it is tasty and flavorful, its big and have more soup. The dumpling wrapper doesnt break easily like other (3++, i hate to lose the soup). we also ordered 2 other dishes. Its good, it is not salty at all. The noodle we order is spicy enough, the heat is just right. The hot sauce on the table, have no other flavour only heat but surprisely it is a good match with the soup dumpling.
i always come here. service is always amazing and the food is always so fresh. however for my ginger beef yesterday, the beef was mainly batter and barely any meat. i’ve gotten this dish a few times but yesterday’s was full of batter. regardless, this is the best & most consistent express chinese takeout spot i’ve been to in the lower mainland area. for the price, the quality is amazing.
I think this might be the best takeout-chinese food i've had. Very crunchy, tangy, flavorful honey mustard chicken and the fried rice was yummy, plentiful and smokey. Usually I am loyal to Manchu Wok, but this takeout tasted better in my opinion. Would definately invite a family member here to try it too.
We came here for an early dinner around 6pm on a Saturday. We waiting about 5 minutes for a table for two. We were vaccine checked and escorted to our table.Our waiter and server were both prompt and friendly. We were asked if we wanted to start with their famous pork or pork and crab soup dumplings. Over course we said "yes" and an order was placed. We also ordered scallion pancakes, shredded beef with jalapeño soup and a tofu & pork dish. Everything was serviced fresh and hot as it was ready.We didn't feel rushed but they move at a quick pace. After we were finished with our main courses we actually ordered one more order of soup dumplings because they are THAT good.
There's lots of parking for everyone. This is a quick and tasty treat especially for those in a hurry. Call ahead to order or stroll inThe food is very reasonably priced and is served in large portions.
Thank you for our delicious meal that we had delivered for dinner last night. Our meats were crunchy, sauces out of this world and mmmm yummy. The veggies were so beautifully hot and fresh, noodles perfect! Many thanks and we will be back!
We got take-out from here last night for the first and last time. The vegetables in my wife's dish were so overdone they were mush and inedible and the overall quality and taste were lackluster.
It was my first time here. It was ok for a fast food chinese takeout spot. Steamed rice, honey almond chicken and sweet and sour pork. Then chow mein, black pepper chicken and a honey garlic chicken. I wouldn't go out of my way for it but they were busy with lots of takeout orders, and sit ins.
