This was actually the best dining experience I’ve had anywhere in years! I had the War Won Ton Soup which was so good I had to order a take home one for the next day. My husband had a Thai Chilli Chicken Appetizer, also excellent. Friendliest server and just a fantastic place. I’ll be back for sure. My compliments to this establishment for such a diverse menu with great service and atmosphere. Thank you!
Been coming here for years. Always great food, great drink, great service. Never any issues. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just a quick drink! Never disappointed!
if you've been working hard all week don't drop into Jimmy Max even if it's just for a meal!My son has been working hard during the all week and at night been fixing his truck. Well he was waiting for the last part which was a real alignment he thought he would go into Jimmy Mac's for meal.He put his head on the table while waiting for service and he was promptly kicked out!I understand they should not serve people if intoxicated but perhaps Jimmy should educate his staff on a difference between somebody who's been working hard and somebody who's falling down drunk!The only reason I gave them one star is because they did answer the phone but they still weren't willing to make it right even after they knew darn well that he hadn't even had a drink!
Second time going there, my fiance and I are vegan. The server Nicole went far out of her way to accommodate us multiple times, and even asked her manager to replace cheese with guacamole at no extra charge on our Nachos which was granted. I cannot praise Nicole enough for her professionalism. Thank you very much!
The first time I came here, I ordered a burger and fries with a large coke. The burger was fantastic, and the fries were great, and the coke was HUGE.This time we went for my birthday lunch, I ordered the same thing, except this time the burger wasn't that good the fries had some sort of coating on them and my coke was in a regular glass.My friend had a salad with her sandwich, and when she bit into it, there were pieces of (what looked like) broken plate in the salad. I went and got the waitress, and she said she was so embarrassed. My friend wasn't asked if she was okay after biting into the broken plate pieces; they replaced her salad with another one, and that was it. They didn't even offer her a discount on her meal.Overall, this visit was VERY DISAPPOINTINGThe first time was great.
The Clubhouse I had was full of the fattiest weird chicken or turkey or whatever it was. Scraped most of it out. My wife's Reuben had a generous amount of meat but the bread was really wet and soggy. The Guinness was really good. The waitress was positively cranky and cold. She seemed like she was in a really bad mood and wanted to spread it to us. Been going to Jimy's since it opened but today the last time. Too many other great pubs around to put up with subpar food and rude service.

Jimmy Mac’s is an amazing pub the servers are 10 out of 10 very very friendly, it’s been a tough year hard to find people to work at places and I get that as a chef! But I went there today for a simple clubhouse and fries and well it was good it was super cold the bacon was not heated up and neither was the turkey and to me that speaks to a lazy chef!
I had the Buddah Salad. It wasn't on the menu but my server Susan suggested I might like a protein with it. Idea of the day for sure. Meal great, service fabulous. Awesome experience !!
I had always heard great things about this place and I wasn't let down when I finally went. Atmosphere was relaxed and homey; service was quick and warm, the crowd was civilized and shared a good sense of humour. Wasn't too loud or packed in there. No blaring music or resultant shouting matches to uphold conversations. The seafood caps were a little basic and pretty small, but the stuffed Yorkshire pudding was excellent in portion and quality. Definitely disappointed with their happy hour being only 3pm-5pm, though. Trivia night was a blast. Lots of room in this place and I'm going back soon for sure!
