I ordered crispy wontons, chow mein with beef, and honey lemongrass style chicken. I ordered takeout. Everything was hot and fresh. The wontons were so crunchy and flavourful. I really enjoyed this meal and will order again for sure.
Was super excited to see such a highly rated restaurant option in Langley. But I was very disappointed. I ordered the lemongrass pork and the salt and pepper wings. The lemon grass pork was super dry. I was surprised how dry it was. The sauce that covered it couldn’t save it. It was awful. The salt and pepper wings were a little better, but that’s not saying a lot. They were burnt and dry. Maybe if I chose the yang yam sauce version, it would have hid the bad cooking technique and possible injected it with some moistness. I don’t know why it’s so highly ranked. Buyer beware.
I was given a very high recommendation for this restaurant, so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Beef on Vermicelli to go. The wait for the food was reasonable. While the ingredients in the dish were fresh, the meal lacked flavour. Some Vietnamese restaurants marinate their Meats in lovely sauces, which result in nice flavours when the Meats are grilled. Here, I found the flavour of the grilled meat in my meal to be very bland. The meat could also have been cut thinner, so the meat would be more tender. Service was ok and the prices were average.
Food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the very reasonable pricing. The staff was really friendly as well and the food just very delicious. Highly recommend if you are into asian cuisine.
I tried this place recently. Was quite happy with the food and service.Portions were a good size. vegetables were cooked perfectly and everything was quite tasty. Staff is friendly and there's plenty of parking out front.
Got take out through skip the dishes. It arrived in a timely manner and we really loved that it is packaged in compostable containers.We were missing one of the dishes we ordered, and one of the bubble teas was different from ordered. The flavours of the food was good, but the meat was extremely overcooked and tough. It tasted like food that had been reheated and didn't sit well after eating it. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the takeout experience was not positive. Maybe it was a one off and we will try again down the road.
Love this place! Great food and people are so friendly and very helpful. We've ordered take out very late at night and still got all what we wanted. Awesome service.
Service was a bit slow, but I expected it having read some reviews that it's a family owned and run restaurant. But the food was amazing! Such good flavors. Lemongrass chicken meal was perfect portion size, and very flavorful. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes.
